Frozen Shoulder Directory
Frozen shoulder (adhesive capsulitis) is pain, stiffness, and a loss of motion in your shoulder. Shoulder pain begins slowly until you cannot move your shoulder at all. The problem occurs when the area surrounding the shoulder joint becomes thick and stiff. Frozen shoulder is more common in people with diabetes, thyroid disorders, heart disease, and Parkinson's disease. If you have frozen shoulder, your doctor may recommend painkillers, anti-inflammatory medicines, and physical therapy to help you feel better and regain movement in your shoulder.
