Amy Gibson

Amy Gibson has been a well recognized face in daytime television. She received her first Emmy nomination for her role in the CBS soap opera Love of Life. Gibson also appeared in The Young and the Restless, in a story line garnering five Emmy nominations, and in General Hospital. In addition she has had numerous prime time appearances, produced a children's animated series, and is developing a prime time comedy special.

Gibson is a spokesperson on behalf of women dealing with hair loss. Having lost her own hair 25 years ago from alopecia areata, Gibson recently started her own company, Crown and Glory Enterprises, a consulting firm that services those in need who are dealing with hair loss. C & G also manufactures custom human hair and synthetic pieces and is associated with Los Angeles area leading oncologists and cancer centers.

Gibson is the creator, producer, and host of the radio show HEADS UP! with Amy Gibson. Launched in August, 2004, the show addresses female hair loss and all the issues associated with it. Gibson states, “HEADS UP! is a combination of hair loss, Hollywood, humor and heart, with a major emphasis on inner and outer beauty. With 30 million women in the U.S. currently dealing with some type of hair loss, this program helps women suffering from hair loss go from feeling like victims to victorious!”
