Beckerman, ARNP, CS, EdD, has more than 20 years' experience in the field of gerontology, both in clinical and academic settings, and is the founder of continuing education programs at the Florida Atlantic University College of Nursing. A frequent lecturer and journal contributor, she is a co-author of It Takes More Than Love: A Practical Guide to Taking Care of an Aging Adult.
