Barbara Kemp Huberman

Barbara Kemp Huberman, a certified sex educator and counselor, is the founder and former president of the nationally recognized Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention Coalition of North Carolina. She is an adjunct professor in the University of North Carolina College of Health Promotion in Charlotte and the national director of training and sexuality education for Advocates for Youth, formerly the Center for Population Options, based in Washington, D.C. She is a founding board member of the National Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy and was the first chair of the National Task Force on State and Local Action.

Huberman is the author of "299 Ways to Prevent Teen Pregnancy" and "Building Local Councils on Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention." She has been actively involved in human sexuality education and adolescent sexuality issues for over 30 years.
