Barbara Rolls, PhD, holds the Guthrie Chair in nutrition at the Pennsylvania State University. She has served on the advisory council of a branch of the National Institutes of Health and serves on the editorial boards of several academic journals in the fields of nutrition and obesity. She has written three professional books on food and nutrition, and published more than 170 scientific papers. She lives in State College, Penn.
