Eternal optimist Dr. Lauren Barrow is a practicing small animal veterinarian, blogger and writer of fiction and non-fiction. She is a happily married mother of three beautiful children, the youngest of which is a medically fragile, disabled cancer survivor. In her spare time, she enjoys playing roller derby, walking her dogs, playing ukulele and watching zombie movies.
