Edward H. Phillips, MD, has been on the forefront of new developments in minimally invasive surgery and is world-renowned for his contributions to advanced laparoscopy. He is currently director of endoscopic surgery at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles and an associate professor of surgery at the University of Southern California.
Phillips is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of University of Southern California’s Society of Graduate Surgeons' board of directors. He is a member of the American Medical Association, the California Medical Association, the Los Angeles Surgical Society, the Society of American Gastroenterologists, the Pacific Coast Surgical Society, the American Hepato-Pacreato-Biliary Association, and the Western Surgical Association. He is also on the editorial board of Laparoscopic & Advanced Surgical Techniques.
Phillips is a graduate of the University of Southern California. He is board certified by the American Board of Surgery.
