A world-renowned leader in cardiac surgery and cardiovascular research, Eric A. Rose, MD, is surgeon in chief at the Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center and chairman of the department of surgery and the Morris and Rose Milstein professor of surgery at Columbia University. He is the author of Second Opinion, The Columbia Presbyterian Guide to Surgery.
Rose is a member of the American College of Surgeons, the American Association for Thoracic Surgery, and the American Society of Transplant Surgeons, among other organizations. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology.
