Her film credits include such hits as Quentin Tarantino's "Jackie Brown," "Living Out Loud" with Holly Hunter, and "True Crime" with Clint Eastwood. After graduating from Howard University on a voice scholarship, Winston joined the Group Theater Workshop in New York City, one of the premiere black theater groups in the country.
