Laurel Riemann, PharmD, has over 20 years of experience in biomedical communications, providing drug information and medical writing. Her work includes the creation of abstracts, posters, and manuscripts from study data; standard and custom response documents from package inserts and published literature; and Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy dossiers. She has served as the medical reviewer on promotional review teams and written for a comprehensive drug reference, providing clinical decision support.
Riemann completed her undergraduate degree in biology and Doctor of Pharmacy degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She then completed residencies in pharmacy practice and drug information at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. She obtained board certification in pharmacotherapy and holds both the core and advanced curriculum certifications from the American Medical Writers Association.
