Laurie J. Polis, MD, is the director of dermatologic services at the SoHo Skin and Laser Dermatology Group in New York City and the director of the Soho Integrative Healthcare Group, which provides services from more than 12 medical and surgical specialties plus alternative and complementary medicine.
Polis is an assistant professor of dermatology and teaching attending at Beth Israel Medical Center, Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and Mount Sinai Hospital. She is a board-certified dermatologist and dermatologic surgeon and a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Academy of Cosmetic Surgeons, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery.
Polis also holds an RN degree and a license in acupuncture for research.
