Martha Anne Tudor, Health Editor at WebMD

Martha Anne Tudor, LPC, joined WebMD as a health editor in 2022, melding skills from her award-winning news journalism and advocacy work. 

Tudor is a licensed psychotherapist, mental health advocate, and LGBTQ+ ally. She’s presented to national and global audiences on mental health conditions and trends. Her online course on mood disorders in Parkinson’s disease draws registrants from around the world. 

Tudor’s writing has appeared in The New York Times, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Le Monde, Atlanta Magazine, and Guideposts and has been featured by The Duke Endowment, American Red Cross, Compassion International, and Parkinson’s Foundation. 

Tudor was recognized by the Red Cross and others for social media posts that found homes for 2,000 “unadoptable” shelter dogs and cats (so far). Her proudest achievement is raising two daughters as a single mom, each of whom has her own social justice mission.
