Milton M. Lakin, MD, FACP is the head of the Section of Medical Urology in the Urological Institute at the Cleveland Clinic. He has a joint appointment in the departments of urology and internal medicine. He is a graduate of the University of Chicago Medical School and board certified in internal medicine and hematology. He is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians.
During his career at The Cleveland Clinic, he has developed the area of erectile dysfunction and has been the author of numerous articles and book chapters dealing with the evaluation and treatment of erectile dysfunction. He has participated in national consensus panels that have published guidelines for the evaluation and treatment of erectile dysfunction. He is an ad hoc reviewer for the journal, Urology. His clinical and research interests include the evaluation and treatment of erectile dysfunction, with particular emphasis on nonsurgical options.
