Carmen Patrick Mohan, MD, FACP, is an internal medicine physician, urban homesteader, and marathon runner who prescribes food and exercise as medicine. She specializes in preventing and treating chronic medical diseases with the HER Prescription Program -- a step-by-step training plan for making lifestyle changes that directly benefit health. A graduate of Emory University School of Medicine, she completed residency training at Cambridge Health Alliance as a clinical fellow at Harvard Medical School. She has always believed health care is best when offered in communities and has cared for patients in a variety of clinical settings where she has been a researcher, mentor, teacher, and patient advocate. In 2017, she co-authored The Women’s Guide to Health -- Run Walk Run, Eat Right, and Feel Better. She maintains a primary care practice in Atlanta.
