Stephanie Langmaid is a freelance writer and editor for WebMD. She worked at CNN for more than 10 years, including as a copy editor for the network’s primetime lineup.
She has more than 30 years of journalism experience, including 8 years producing health and medical content on a wide range of topics. She began her career at CNN, working her way from camera operator to copy editor for the network’s primetime lineup.
She holds degrees from Southern Methodist University in political science and broadcast news and earned an MS in journalism from Columbia University.
She can often be found volunteering in the kitchen at MUST Ministries, teaching teenagers financial literacy through the Communities in Schools Reality U program and cheering on the Atlanta Braves.
