C. Roy Hunter, M.S., C.Ht.,is a Hypnotherapist certified by several hypnotherapy associations. Roy started in his full-time hypnotherapy practice in 1983, and has been teaching professional hypnotherapy at Tacoma Community College since 1987. In 1998 he became an adjunct faculty member at Bastyr University, teaching a graduate level class on hypnosis. He was personally trained by the legendary late Charles Tebbetts and has written several books on the subject, including The Art of Hypnosis, and The Art of Hypnotherapy. His first book was HypnoCise (now out of print) written in 1985, and published in 1987 by Westwood Publishing under a different title. His latest book is a comprehensive self-hypnosis book entitled, Master the Power of Self-Hypnosis (Sterling Publishing, 1998), now available in bookstores and online.
