Carolle Jean-Murat, MD

Fluent in five languages, Carolle Jean-Murat, MD, provides free medical care and preventive health education to women of diverse backgrounds and cultures through her work with Catholic Charities and St. Vincent de Paul Village. In 1993 Jean-Murat founded the Health Through Communications Foundation, a nonprofit organization providing Haitians living in the United States and abroad with education, health care, and hope for the future.

Jean-Murat also works as a motivational speaker, bringing her message of self-empowerment to women through lectures, TV and radio appearances, books, and articles. The author of Menopause Made Easy, Natural Pregnancy A-Z, and Staying Healthy: 10 Easy Steps for Women and the women's health expert and a columnist for San Diego Insider.com, Jean-Murat has her own web site at www.drcarolle.com.
