Celi Adams, RN, ONC, is cofounder and clinical director of Home Care Companions. She has more than 20 years of nursing experience, specializing in treating patients with AIDS and cancer, and has assisted thousands of people living with a life-threatening illness and their caregivers. Adams is one of 10 individuals selected to receive a $100,000 Robert Wood Johnson Foundation 2000 Community Health Leadership Award, the nation’s highest honor for community health leadership.
Adams received her nursing degree from Santa Rosa Junior College School of Nursing and an oncology nurse certification from the Oregon Nurses Cancer Education Program.
