Charles B. Inlander is president of the People's Medical Society, the largest consumer health advocacy organization in the United States. He is the co-author of numerous books, including Long-Term Care and Its Alternatives, Take This Book to the Hospital with You; Medicine on Trial; Medicare Made Easy; Your Medical Rights; Getting the Most for Your Medical Dollar; The Consumer’s Medical Desk Reference; 150 Ways to be a Savvy Medical Consumer; Long-Term Care and Its Alternatives; Family Health for Dummies; Men’s Health for Dummies; and First AID and Safety for Dummies. He is a health commentator on Public Radio International's Marketplace and host of The Charles Inlander Show on WPEN radio in Philadelphia, a faculty lecturer at the Yale University School of Medicine, an adjunct faculty member at the Chicago-Kent College of Law, and a fellow of the Institute for Science, Law and Technology at the Illinois Institute of Technology.

Inlander has appeared on hundreds of radio and television programs including The Oprah Winfrey Show, Donahue, Today, Good Morning America, Dateline NBC, 48 Hours, 20/20, Geraldo, NBC Evening News, CBS Evening News, ABC Evening News, and Inside Edition.
