JOHN WHYTE: Do I need
to quarantine if I've had
the vaccine?
If you are fully vaccinated
against COVID-19,
and you've been exposed
to someone who is sick, the CDC
now says you no longer have
to quarantine.
Fully vaccinated means
that at least two weeks have
passed since you've received
the second dose of a two dose
vaccine,
or one dose of a single dose
vaccine.
That said, if you have any symptoms, you should still isolate. Also keep this in mind, we don't know if vaccinated people still spread the disease. So you should also continue to wear a mask in public, physically distance, and avoid large crowds.
