Debra Wein, MS, RD, LDN

Debra Wein, MS, RD, LDN, holds a bachelor's degree in nutritional sciences from Cornell University and a master's in nutrition and applied physiology from Columbia University. She is an adjunct faculty member at the University of Massachusetts, Simmons College, and The Boston Conservatory and leads the Women's Subcommittee of the Massachusetts Governor's Committee on Physical Fitness and Sports.

Wein has lectured for the United States of America Track and Field Association, Harvard Medical School, The Dana Farber Cancer Institute and regional conferences of The American College of Sports Medicine, including the New York conference marking the collaboration of the New York chapters of the ACSM and SCAN (Sports and Cardiovascular Nutritionists) of the American Dietetic Association.

Wein serves as a nutrition consultant for the Boston Ballet, teaching at the Boston Ballet school, and has presented for the ACSM's Health & Fitness Instructor certification as well as the National Strength & Conditioning Association's Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist Certification. Wein is a contributing editor for IDEA magazine and Dietitian's Edge magazine and her articles and quotes have appeared in numerous other publications.
