This vitamin is great except I find it hard to remember to take it in the morning. I don't know why I HAVE to take it in the morning but it works good for me!

It is a little hard on my stomach sometimes. I have acid reflux and am on medication for my reflux but if I am having a bad day with it, adding the Prenatal Plus can worsens those effects. So I usually skip the Prenatal Plus that day. Other than that, the medicine has been great. I had MRSA and I was getting sick repeatedly and was put on this over a year ago for a temporary basis to help build my immune system and have stayed on it at my own request for my own well being. I don't get a lot of dairy intake, am fair skinned, had skin cancer five years ago (basil cell carcinoma), and don't spend very much time outdoors, so I have also added a vitamin D 1,000U supplement to it. So with these two together and my normal diet I have never felt better.Read More Read Less

I could not take most OTC brands for stomach problems. This one is gentle on the digestive tract, so my Dr. prescribed it, even though I am a guy and not pregnant. So expecting or not, this is a vitamin that is suitable for my reflux problems (not to treat it, just a vitamin I can take with my moderate-severe reflux), so I would believe that other could ask your Dr. about this if you feel it may be right for you, it is more pricey than other OTC vitamins, but worth it. And for sie effects, I have noted a much faster pace of growth of facial hair (remember I am a guy, I am not saying it will give a female facial hair), faster growth of hair on top of head (great if you are into heavy metal and hair band look), and finger and toe nail growth is faster and have stronger nails, so my wife now take it for mostly this reason, longer stronger nails! At least for her. Give it a try, my 18 yr old neighbor is also taking it, she is pregnant, and her medicaid pays for it also, so if you can't afford it, your insurance may cover it, regretfully, not mine.Read More Read Less

Had terrible dizziness with this very expensive RX vitamin. Took 4 days to subside after treatment stopped.
