I got the flu. I'm a nurse and tried everything over the counter with success. I finally after two weeks went to the doctor whom confirmed I had a very irritated throat and bronchitis. I asked him for something to help me sleep because my cough was just controlable. He gave me Hydromet, Never took anything like this before. I was a little screptical at first as I have htn. This stuff works very well. Within 30min of my first dose my cough subsided. Although it does give me a 'hangover - like' headache. Doesn't exactly knock me out but it does help me rest. The taste to me is horrible it almost taste like a flavored vodka of some sorts! :)

This is my first time having this medication. I've taken 2 doses. I'm experiencing nausea, lightheadedness, dizziness, drowsiness and vison changes. The coughing has stopped, but I don't think I will continue with the medicine. I'd rather deal with the cough than the side effects of the medicine.

It works great for stopping cough immediately..slept well..cough comes right back if med is missed..suffered severe stomache cramps, pain & runs on just 1 teaspoon..got the jitters also..rather cough than get addicted....

this medicine made me nausea after 2 doses, and then I looked it up on the webmd and found that it had hyrocodone in it which makes me very sick.

I suffer from chronic bronchitis. This is the 1st time I have been prescribed this particular med for my cough. I will ask for it again. A little works well. Does make me a little sick to my tummy, but so do all other narcotics... I like that it doesn't have a whole lot of other meds in with it. Makes my treatment easier.

Though this medicine has helped me stop coughing (bronchitis), It has made me severely queezy for extended periods of time. I have never been nauseated before when taking hydrocodone cough syrup, but this one really makes my tummy feel sick sick.

It works great on the cough. hydrocodone wires me a little so it's not helping with the sleep and it taste nasty! But I stop coughing and after having bronchitis for 2 weeks I'm pretty happy about that!

i was told by the drug store that i was to take 2 tablespoons,my prescription said to take 10ml and i didnt know what that was so i called and asked,I slept for 3 days and vomited for 2,I called the frug store back and was told it should have been 2 teaspoons,I was very sick because of this.

Prescribed for bronchitis. It helps stop the coughing and lets you get a good night's sleep without making you feel drugged. (Much better than the medicine I was prescribed last time I had bronchitis)

after taking this medicine and then using my blood pressure medicine i feel very rubbery and light headed

I have used Phenergan with Codeine and no results, this drug met and exceeded my expectations. Very tiny amount works for a long time! Makes bronchitis liveable!

This medication worked wonderful for stopping the cough and allowing me to sleep at night.

It is the ONLY medicine that stops my horrible cough when I have bronchitis. I think the syrup form is a bonus. It Instantly stops me from coughing and soothes my throat. It also lets you get a good nights sleep.

This is the only drug that relieves my cough from chronic bronchitis during a flare up. I use it about three times a year and it really works well for me

Works great on persistant cough. Would prefer to have it dispensed in tablet form rather than liquid, just easier for me to measure. But overall, very satisfied with results.
