I started using Plavix for this condition but I had too many side effects. My doctor changed me to Effient 10mg and once the Plavix was gone, I started to feel great. I have no side effects to this drug and if needed, I will stay on it for the rest of my life. Effient has been very effective for me.

I took Plavix for 6.5 months and it almost "litereal statement" killed me. I was off the Plavix for a month, felt like a new person, now my doctor has placed me on this drug to insure that the stent in my heart does not block. I am beginning to feel very fatigued but I am going to give it a try because I don't want to go back into the hospital.

I started taking this medicine after stent placement on 2/24/10. I am having minor nose bleeds and an itchy rash on my arms and front of my torso and breasts. I understand nose bleeds are common, but I'm wondering if anyone else has had a rash/itching.

I have etching side effects. Should I stop taking this medicine ? If so, what are other medications as i have gone thru angioplasty with 3 medically treated stents done on 12/9/09. I had the same problem with Plavix, 75 mg.

i just started taking this medication,and have been told by my wife that she heard it from t.v. that i cannot take prevacid at the same time that i am taking this medication,is this true?
