My personal experience with Natazia is amazing. Previously I used Nuvaring, which made me extremely moody and irrational, lowered sex-drive, and gave me leg pain, which made me feel like I was always on the verge of a blood clot. With Natazia I have had no symptoms, and I rarely get my period, even on the white pill days. At the most I get a little spotting and cramping on those days. After my exp...

I've been pleased with the effectiveness as far as not becoming pregnant, something that wasn't the case with my previous BC. However, I'm glad my last Natazia pill was yesterday because it's been 18 months of awful. This is my third BC pill and each one has given me a side effect or two. My husband and I have been successful in not being pregnant however, we've endured: my cravings for sweets which I didn't usually have a sweet tooth, gained about 15 lbs though I work our 5-6 days a week, regular periods like clockwork, hot flashes and disrupted sleep from awaking in sweat, weird moods/emotions and calf cramps similar to that of a DVT. After stopping the pill, I feel happier, no calf cramps, decreasing weight and more control over cravings. Be sure not to stop until you finish the last pill of the pack. Hope this helps you.Read More Read Less

I've been taking Natazia for 2 months after being on Yaz for 2 years. I'm having a problem with bloating on this pill. I gained about 5 pounds within the first few weeks of taking it, which I can only attribute to excess fluid retention. I feel so fat on this pill, despite the fact that I work out all the time. I had clear skin while on Yaz, and am now getting acne on my back and my neck. Also, Natazia is supposed to reduce your period, but I have seen no change in mine. I'll be going back to Yaz next month.Read More Read Less

I started on this pill to alleviate my long/heavy periods, mood swings and constant migraines. The first 3 months on this pill were an adjustment, with more symptoms, but quickly balanced my hormones out. I went from having two week long periods to 2-3 days, as happy as a clam, and down to about one migraine a month. I did also experience weight gain while maintaining a controlled diet, and a heightened libido.

I would not recommend this BC to anyone I started it to help increase my libido which it has with horrible other issues. I feel psychotic my mood swings are unbelievable I find myself crying and getting upset over the silliest things. If you do not want crazy raging anger mood swings stay away from this BC.

I began using Natazia about 2 years ago to help alleviate severe cramps. I love this BC! It has worked well for my body! It has decreased my menstrual cramps, lightened my periods but not taken them away like my last BC did, my skin seems unaffected -which is good since the last BC caused terrible acne, and no babies! The only negative side effect I'm almost certain it has caused is I get very emotional usually the week before my period which I never experienced before! Also no weight gain or effects on sex drive. I love Natazia but with every BC you just have to try a few out sometimes to find what works with your body!Read More Read Less

I've been pleased with the effectiveness as far as not becoming pregnant, something that wasn't the case with my previous BC. However, I'm glad my last Natazia pill was yesterday because it's been 18 months of awful. I've experienced severe weight gain, numbness in my legs, sleep problems, extreme mood swings, increased PMS symptoms, horrid cramping, and irregular periods (although there was a span of about 7 months where it was very regular), none of which would be the norm in my 18 years of menstruation. And it's only been recently that I finally figured out that all of these issues were linked to the same thing and had started not long after starting on this pill.Read More Read Less

I'm 29. Used this product for 2 months...and I have acne. My acne days are looong gone but I started this pill and there you have it. My hair started coming out in long strands and what sex drive? Gone. I was definitely moody all the time. One minute I can't stand the hubby, the next I was asking him how his day was like nothing ever happened. Before the pill I was ALWAYS nice, even on my period. I got off this pill before my marriage got destroyed from my unfriendly mood swings.

I got my period twice a month. Once in the middle of the pack and once at the end when i was supposed to. It also made me really nervous. I had bad ovary pain before taking this pill and it didn't fix it nor make it worse. This pill just wasn't exactly my desired experience

This brand of pill is called Qlaira in Australia. I had been on Vallette (Jeanine) for many years and never felt quite right. There wasn't another option until Qlaira was released. I've tried them all. I've been taking Qlaira for 6 weeks now and the difference is really noticeable. In a good way! My light acne is much better (Valette is supposed to be very good for acne but I never found it to be effective). I don't have the same problems with trouble sleeping which is a blessing and one of the main reasons I wanted to switch. Hay fever and asthma seems to be less severe compared to how I was on previous pill. No bleeding so far (not a problem for me), mood swings seem to be stable apart from the urge to cry which was only for a few days. I'm still getting headaches but no migraines so far. I feel like I've lost some weight or become leaner (I always felt puffy on the previous pill). Perhaps my hair is greasier (again compared to the previous pill). Unfortunately it costs $$$ ($89 for 3 months) so hopefully the cost comes down. I set an alarm on my phone to remind me as it would be costly if you had to start a new packet if you miss one! Overall this pill has worked really well for me. Read More Read Less

If you are a person who gets their period for a week with constant cramps than yes this BC works well. My period skipped for two months so far, and before that it was lighter and no cramps. The only down side to this is that it has made me overly emotional. I have never been so depressed and so sensitive to things. I hope this review helps, I am going to try something else soon, I can't seem to get myself out of this funk although I have enjoyed not having my period.

I just started my 3rd pack of Natazia. I kind of like it but I'm not sure it is the right one for me. The first month everything was fine. I got my period a day or two before the first white pill. I bled on and off for a week. It was extremely light (compared to what i'm used to experiencing). My period ended and about a week later I started spotting on and off daily until it was time for my period again. During my period this time, I am bleeding on and off. I think that it's over and 12 hrs later it comes back. I am not sure it's ever going to go away. This has been happening daily since Sept. 22 and it is now Oct. 10th (spotting/period). I like the pill because the bleeding is so light, I forget that i'm bleeding. But I am frustrated because I am nervous to not wear a pad because my period/spotting shows up daily. I want this pill to work for me. I just started my third pack and I'm hoping that things will straighten out.Read More Read Less

I have tried other forms of Birth Control in the past including other pills and the Nuva Ring and gained weight on both. I seem to have either lost weight/ become leaner or am maintaining a great weight on Natazia and I am not currently working out. During the first month I did not have a period but did have a little spotting. I have no complaints...

I was using this for PCOS and birth control. This is by far the best bc I have used for my PCOS symptoms. In the past, I'd get cramps and occasionally a migraine around that time of the month. Not only did I stop having those problems, but I lost a few lbs and had lighter periods (3 days vs 5-6 before). Only negative was the monthly price at $70 for me after insurance.

Taking this medication for treatment of PCOS. Never had any issues with it-no significant weight gain, no acne problem, no terrible mood swings, menstruation is normal with normal cramping and flow.

I've just ended my third month on this pill and so far, I hate it. I know any new BCP takes a few months for your body to adjust, but I haven't had a period since I started-- the nurse I spoke to said this is normal, but it concerns me. I'll have bad cramps for a week or so at random times during my cycle, but no bleeding. Had HORRIBLE moodiness during first month (cried over everything). ZERO sex drive. I was on Ortho-Tri-Cyclen Lo for six years and can't remember ever having side effects, though the last six months I started having heavy bleeding again, which is why I switched. I would not recommend Natazia. Read More Read Less

Singly, the worst birth control I've used. I use BCs to handle my PCOS. This caused RAPID, EXTREME mood swings, vaginal discharge, itching and pain - changes to the texture and consistency of my vestibule & vulva and induced symptoms of vulvodynia. I strongly advise any doctor AGAINST prescribing this medication to any female. Getting off this medication encouraged more mood swings and pain and migraines. I've not experienced anything like this before. Do NOT take this drug.

Overall, I have been very pleased with Natazia thus far. This is the first birth control pill I have ever been on. I have a decreased appetite and have lost about 10 pounds. It has also helped with my light acne. My sex drive remains the same as before starting the pill. However, I have become more emotional since starting this pill about two months ago. I used to be able to control my crying better! So far, my period has not shortened, nor lightened. My period starts about a week before the white pills and lasts 7-8 days. I'm hoping that, with time, my period will become shorter and lighter.Read More Read Less

This was my 5th combination birth control pill in 7 years after: Ortho, Trinessa, Trisprintec, and Portia. I was put on the pill for a hormone imbalance, heavy periods, and pregnancy prevention. Periods: Were 2 days at first, then stopped all together for 3rd and 4th month. Spotting: anywhere from 6-10 days for first two months, then no spotting the last two. Nausea: at least a week each month. After 4 months, I have switched to another pill. It was great for periods, but I couldn't stand the nausea. I would give it a try if you have heavy periods, it could be the pill for you.Read More Read Less
