Had this implant for nearly 12 months my experience with this contraception has been quite good however the only downfall I hate about it is that my periods last for 16 weeks I wanted to get this implant removed however my doctor prescribed me the pill for 3 months and at the minute things have seen to settled down the nurse said give it more time and they say wait at least a year them hopefully fingers crossed after the year mark it may completely stop my periods which will be a blessing because I hate getting bad periods I suffer with bad cramps and ive always had heavy periods from the age of 12 im just gonna stick with it because its easy to use and its a forget you birth control and is very effective you never know after this long period i have just had i may not get one for ages fingers crossed they completely stop to give me a long break from menstruating as soon as the 3 years are up and this implant has expired I shall get it removed them after I get it removed I will be switching back to the pill like I did before.Read More Read Less

Well it was good in the beginning I was put on this for painful periods, but now it’s just constant pain and horrible painful and long periods. I definitely would not recommend
