med does not work for the pain,it takes three hours to even feel the pain to subside, very dizzy , can hardly stand, this is in the same category as opana er,wondering if they are trying to kill of the people with pain, instead of helping. the dr don't seem to care anymore what the patient says - just hang in there, it will eventually work.Even if they know what worked before, they do not care-ge...

I have had chronic back pain for 5 years. I was on tramadol and hydrocodone and steroid injections which stop working. The doctor at the pain management center gave me Nucynta Er 150 2x a day and tramadol 50mg 2x a day. This has been wonderful for me. I am able to go to the YMCA and walk the treadmill for 1 hr and the elipitical 40 min 5 days a week! I have my life back. I no longer feel like I was going to be handicap (in the bed) for the rest of my life!

I have had chronic migraine since I was 5 years old, I have tried every drug, prescription or non-prescription, tried every treatment around and nothing every helped with my headaches. Since taking Nucynta my life has changed so dramatically my husband doens't even know who I am. The first week I was extremely nausous now I take 2 x 150mg daily and my headaches are under control. About once every few months I have an extemely bruital migraine but I can't complain about that!!!

This is the first time I've ever reviewed a drug. I've been taking 10-325 Percocet for years and my pain Dr. added Nucynta 75 ER about 6 months ago. I didn't notice any change in pain relief and over the last 6 months he has raised the strength to where I am supplementing the Percocets with Nucynta 150ER now. I think it has helped some, but I think I might be kidding myself. I still find myself looking forward to the next Percocet and some temporary pain relief. Sorry, but this is my true statement. I really wish it would work noticeably and consistently.Read More Read Less

Had memory loss, couldn't function at work. Drug did very little to stop the pain, but made me feel like I was confused all the time. I could hardly walk, couldn't hold a conversation. Was not a good med for me-had similar problems with Lyrica.

I just got prescribed it today. Kind of scared to use it after a lot of the reviews I have read about this drug. I have two kids and need to be functional with them. Oxycodone works but my pain management doctor wanted to try this. I

I have had chronic back pain for 4 years now due to spinal stenois and herniated discs.I have been Nucenta 200 twice a day and supplement with percocets 2times a day for breakthru pain at usually 2 hours before next dose.It gives fair pain control but does not have the bad side effects as with other narcotics.I have actually had some relief and I can sleep for the first time in 4 years.I started on 100mgs and my doctor titrated upwards.I am interested have many people had success with the immediate release form of Nucenta?Read More Read Less

been on chronic pain meds for 10 years due to 13 bone surgeries. tired of felling high but no relief. Dr. is trying timed release meds. the nucynta is the first relief I have had in a long time. wish there was more information on it. I have had severe withdrawels from duragesic patch and therfore am leery of strong meds, so when they work I worry. Anyone else feel this way? but constant pain sucks soooo what to do?

Works great for me. First med in 6 years to help with my fibro. Actually feeling human and part of my family life again!! Thank God people who don't have good results can't pull stuff off shelves.Because for other people it has been the best med in a long time. I do take nucynta for break through but after changing my dosage on the nucynta ER down from 4-5 pills a day to 1-2. goal to get down to only 2 nucynta er's a dayand no xtra's for break thru.

I have been taking pain meds for over seven years for back problems. When the docter put me on Nycinta I had been taking morphone 30mg three times daily. I ended up in emergency room with withdraws and major pain it felt like I hadn't taken anything at all.
