when i take this pill it makes me hot, it feels like a fever but i don't have one i get cool down but it takes a while

I've had back pain(L2,L4 L5/S1 for years now. Sometimes the pain is tolerable and other times the pain has been severe. I have noticed and learned over the years to take this med RIGHT when I START felling the pain that is 8 or over on a scale from 1 to 10. And this med works great. However, If I wait to take this med until the pain is severe, the med is not as effective, and I'll will have to take another one in 30 min. to a hr. just to get the pain under control again. Also, this med does sometimes cause constipation. I use and recommend vegetable laxative from walmart. It works great and it's natural. Also, I take some extra virgin olive oil and dip it in whole wheat bread, and that works great also. I hopes this helps. Read More Read Less

I have been on different pain meds for about 4 years due to chronic neck and lower back pain. This is the BEST med I have been prescribed to keep the pain level under control and allow me to be a single mom, working and going to school. Because of my age I was told surgery was not an option until now and have had to suffer..I will finally be having surgery next week to remove disks in my neck!

I have severe pain in my lower 2 dics in my back and SI joint on my left side. I have had injections in my lower back ( hasn't worked for me)I was taking lortab5/500mg just didn't stop the dics problem and doen't help the Joint at all. Have TMJ have been given Lorcet 10/650mg. Now the lower back is almost gone and SI Joint pain totally gone. The only thing I don't like is the days that I have to drive I don't take it until I get home. so I'm in pain when I away from home. Lorcet 10/650 helps my pain in my lower back good. I would not take any other pain meds.

I had all 4 wisdom teeth removed at the same time. Two of them were very difficult to take out. The lorcet helped a lot after the surgery. I would only be in pain if I forgot to take the RX before the previous dose completely wore off.

This worked well for me, after my neck surgery

This drug was effective for my pain once upon a time. Now it doesn't relieve my pain as good as it used to.

I had lower back surgery to remove disc fragments, initially given percocet after surgery but about 4 weeks after the surgery switched to Lorcet 10/650. When I had the surgery the Dr. didn't fix my heniated disc just removed fragments of the disc that broke off. Lorcet seems to work well for my post-op pain. Because the surgeon didn't fix my herniated disc I will probably remain on this medication for some time. Would prefer percocet but it is difficult to get for long-term chronic use. Because i have a lot of pain in my neck , from a bad disk in neck and back. And the med help to stop the pain.

i had shoulder surgery in 2004. i have to have 3 more surgeries according to my physcianan. i can't afford the surgery so i continue to take the pain medicine. my thing is that people go out and get this medication just to get high so it makes it harder for people like me that really need medication. something needs to give its not right.

I had a rotator cuff operation, the drug worked well

Am taking it for hip pain. I find this to be very effective and I don't have to take the prescribed up to 4 a day in order to see the results. If it starts flaring up, I take one and usually that takes care of it.

itake it for back pain but i dont want it to show up on a drug screen how many days do i stay off of it
