I had awful all day nausea with this pregnancy. My doctor prescribed diclegis for me to try. The first time I took it, it made me VERY drowsy the next morning. Reminds me of the feeling of taking benadryl. This only lasted for the first few days that I took it then my body got used to it. This drug alleviated my all day nausea. I still have a very sensitive gag reflex but the all day nausea is ...

I absolutely hated how this pill made me feel. Talk about high! I'm still on one as I type. I feel crazy. If it's doing this to ME. Imagine what it's doing to a barely developed little human. I won't be taking them again. Beyond drowsy!

I suffered from severe hyperemesis with all 3 of my pregnancies. I am currently pregnant with my 3rd child and I was so miserable before I started Diclegis. The nausea and vomiting was so bad I almost considered terminating my pregnancy. I started the Diclegis when I was about 12 weeks and I am not 21 weeks. I have only vomited once since I started the medication and that was in the beginning. As soon as I miss a dose I instantly start to feel the nauseated. It is awesome and I wish I had it with my previous pregnancies. I only take 2 pills a day and Im A okRead More Read Less

I am so very please with this medication. i have suffered 5 pregnancies with extreme Hyperemesis. I have tried many medications and many home remedies, but this is the first medication I have found that has truly relieved my nausea. I usually end up in the hospital due to dehydration from the vomiting. I take four pills per day. I have vomited in the morning twice before I could get to my morning pill, but it subsides as soon as I take it. I am so happy with this medication, it is the first time i have been pregnant and did not have to put my life on hold for 4+ months! Amazing! Read More Read Less

The medacine worked wonders on my nausea, but with the severe diherrea and stomach pain I dont know if it was with it! Plus I was restless at night and stayed drowsy and irritable. I would recommend it to others, just not my cup of tea!

I had severe ms and I started off taking it for times a day as suggested. It made me drowsy in the beginning and have weird dreams but all of that eventually went away. Im now four months and I take two pills at night due to the little vomiting I still have. Overall, it helped me out tremendously! I'll be glad when I don't have to take anything but so far, I still need it. I don't believe i could have went on with the pregnant w/o Diclegis.

When taken as directed it works great! I noticed one lady said she takes one in the morning and thats it and shes still nauseous, I feel like thats her fault for not taking it correctly. If I miss a dose my nausea returns, but as long as I take all 4 as directly everyday like I'm suppose to I feel great. It does make me drowsy sometimes but I would rather be drowsy than puking my guts out. I wish this medicine had been around with my first pregnancy, I stayed sick all the time, and now on this medication I have only gotten sick one time after starting it and that was because I missed the two pills I was suppose to take before bed so I threw up my breakfast. For me its highly worth being a little drowsy, I just drink Gatorade with it and I'm not as drowsy. I love these pills. I hate being nauseous, I hate throwing up, and while taking these I dont have to wprry about either problem. Read More Read Less

I'm currently pregnant with my 2nd child, and am suffering from severe morning sickness. I started taking Diclegis almost 2 weeks ago, and have noticed a slight improvement. I am still sick in the mornings, but not as severe. It also makes me sleep very well at night. I've taken 1 in the morning, and not been too drowsy to work.

Before getting on diclegis i had been experience ms so back that in one week alone i lost 6 lbs. I weighed 106 lbs to begin with so I definitely couldnt afford to loose more weight. I was puking morning day and night, and even fluids were difficult to keep down. The first two weeks on diclegis I suffered from drowsiness, however the nausea was instantly better. I could actually eat food! As the pregnancy progressed i have been able to take less and less and the drowiness that was initially a problem is non-exsistant now. I am 23 weeks pregnant and still getting morning sickness, i would be a wreck without diclegis. Read More Read Less

My morning sickness was getting unbearable by week 8 so I finally decided to try this drug. It has worked wonders. Yes it makes you tired, but I would much rather be tired than severely nauseated and throwing up all day long.

I have experienced awful nausea and vomiting with my pregnancy, like extreme 30-40 times a day. Finally at about 16 weeks I tried Diclegis and wow I feel human again! No more fluids at the hospital! This really is wonderful and it does not cause constipation that so many other drugs for this reason do.

I absolutely love this pill! I've been taking it for a few days now and so far it's working. When it says it'll make you drowsy, it's not kidding. You'll wake up super tired and feel like you're "out of your body" all day. I wouldn't recommend driving while taking it until you get a grip (took me a couple days). The inconvenient side effects are way worth the alleviating feeling of nausea. It even helped subdue my raging migraine.

I love this pill! It's the only thing that worked for me & was safe. I've been taking it for 3 week 2x a day at night & it seems to help. The only thing is I found it really suppresses your appetite & I've experience weight loss, so far about 25 lbs in the 3 weeks. But so far in 15 weeks pregnant and the baby is fine!

Medicine worked once it got into system, but I got intense headaches as a side effect. Sometimes the trade off wasn't any better.

This med is the reason I smile! Thank God there's something that allows me to function without feeling horrible all day long. The added plus is that it's category A which is very rare in pregnant women! It even helped with my breast pain!

This medicine worked for my hypermesis gravidarem. I have a sever HG case and use diclegis and zofran. Diclegis was a good preventative for nausea but didn't work instantly so zofran helped. It's best to wean off this med very slow because the time release is very long and cold turkey can make you think you do not need it but 48hrs later your vomiting like crazy so wean off slowly like one pill less every other day and so on...

It's the only reason I can function. I still vomit 1-3 times a day, but that's a large improvement over 10-15

Works really well with very minimal side effects. I often experience side effects from medications and have had none with this medication, it is awesome!
