I have been on Belviq for five weeks and have lost 11 lbs. I am taking 2 pills a day. Side effects at first were sleepiness, feeling cold all the time and some muscle weakness. Now I just have dry mouth and i have a hard time getting started in the morning which is unusual for me. I just had bloodwork done and cholosterol is finally in normal range and all other results were excellent. All cravin...

I've tried several different weight loss medications. My doctor recommended this because she thought it would be a good fit. Described it as appetite suppressant. Didn't do a thing!!! Did the 15 day trial then paid over $150 including the $75 off coupon. I'm going back to Phentermine. Belviq is worthless. Don't waste your money on this or Qysimia. It's also worthless and extremely expensive. And n...

This is working for me. I have major knee and back injury making exercise impossible. It has taken away my craving for sweets which I would otherwise graze on all day. I don't think about food at all. I would recommend.

This is only day two for me, and my doctor only told me to take one a day, which might be the problem. I keep reading other reviews and people are saying that they have no appetite. I am still hungry and want to eat my three meals a day. My prescription says take two a day, but doctor told me to only take one with breakfast, so I feel that wearing off at about 3 or so. The only side effect, in my two days, is a slight headache and I had trouble falling asleep last night, which is not uncommon for me anyway. I will update when I have been on a bit longer, but I really thought it would take my appetite away better than this.Read More Read Less

I started using Belviq and it is amazing. I typically eat early around 4-5 and end up getting hungry just before bed (watching all those dang Food adds on TV). Did not get a bit hungry taking my first pill around 5pm. Woke up no hungry. Not shaky, as I have blood sugar issues and if I don’t eat or eat sweets early I get head aches and get shaky. Had no side effect on me. I was amazed it worked right out of gate.

I began taking Belviq over an 8 week period. I lost 32 pounds and am still using it but only taking one tablet now as a maintenance. No food cravings and great sleep. No side effects.

I have been on the medication almost a month now. I have lost 8 pounds. It does help me sleep better but I have experienced a little dizziness and stomach cramps. I have to make my self eat which may be contributing to the symptoms. The symptoms are not too bad not bad enough to stop taking it. My BMI was at 29 so I am close to the limit but this is an awesome weight loss drug if you have cravings ans stay hungry it works!

Was on Qsymia for a week but could not tolerate the dosage increase after that. I was very agitated and it was changing how food tasted (iron or bloody taste) Switched to Belviq as my doc says he is seeing success with no side effects. on it for a week, not aware of any side effects yet. Lost 4 lbs so far so good says that if I respond (lose weight) I can continue with it.

I began using Belviq with a goal of taking my weight from 205 down to 180 pounds. I am also a Type 1 diabetic. In 8 weeks time my weight went from 205 down to 175 pounds with no side effects other than my insulin usage going down from 120 units a day to 52 units a day. I have never had better control in 24 years since being diagnosed. To me this is a wonder dug!

I have taken Belviq principally for weight loss (to lose 35 pounds), and in less than two weeks have lost 10 pounds with no side-effects. Belviq has substantially reduced my cravings for carbs, including alcohol, potato chips etc. and dramatically improved my ability to sleep. Belviq is extremely effective and very safe. You can take this drug with a BMI of 30 or higher, or a BMI as lows as 27 if you have diabetes, high blood pressure, diabetes etc. I am not a diabetic, but many patients taking Belviq have reported substantial decreases in their requirements for insulin. Headache first two days of taking, gone and not returned. have lost 29 lbs in 10 weeks, quickly at first, a plateau and then more slowly. Lost many inches in, well everywhere. I sleep better and am refreshed when I wake. New wardrobe already, tryint to help the economy. This medication is a God send.

UPDATE 29 Days on Belviq Just as a reminder I am a Type 1 diabetic which is important for all diabetics (Type 1 and 2) as well as pre-diabetics who can benefit from Belviq as well: 29 Days in: Starting weight: 202 Pounds 29 days into usage (this AM 186 Pounds). Roughly 8% weight loss. Insulin Usage: Starting 30 Units 4 times daily. 29 days into usage 18 Units 4 times daily. My waking Blood Sugar this AM was at 91. I am monitoring just before my bedtime shot and occasionally have to cut my overnight shot further (15-18 units). This would be my 4th shot which is the overnight. My waist size has gone from 38 and my 36 pants are now loose. The decrease in my insulin costs are now saving me the cost of the Belviq as Insulin is twice the cost.Read More Read Less

This drug is working as advertised. I have lost 21 lbs in 35 days so far with no side effects ! My wife will start the drug next month. My Dr. was a hard sell at first but I pushed the issue and he finally agreed with me. He is pleased with the results so far.

I have lost 15-17 pounds in about 3 months. This is the first time I have been able to accomplish this in many years of trying. The longer I take it the more will power I have. It makes it much easier to make good choices as I don't feel hungry when it is time to eat.

Lost 27 pounds in 7 weeks. No late night craving. Not hungry. Stop eating at about 1/3 of what I use to eat and feel full. Great drug should have been out a year ago.

Amazing! I was ready to give up. I am unable to exercise due to my size and vertigo issues. I no longer have the uncontrollable urge to eat nonstop. I can't explain it, i'm just satisfied with normal portions. I am no longer a chain eater.
