I have lived with thyroid disease for 30+ years. Have been through most hormone replacement options and did awful on synthroid. After partial thyroid removal, went to Nature-throid. Had the clearest mind, however, something in the med causes serious night sweats/hot flashes. Then tried ERFA from Canada. Very stable med, that does not have any huge crash around 3-4 pm, however, it caused stomach problems. So wound up for 6 years taking half a grain of ERFA and half Nature-throid to minimize the negative effects of both. Took 6 years to stop hot flashing. Recently just tried WP since I liked getting rid of all the fillers and I have been reading about all the issues reported with ERFA current production. Two major problems. In Florida, the pill turns colors and gets sticky, as if it is wet. It does this in as little as 6 hours, once placed in a standard "day of the week" pill container. In other words, it is absorbing all the wonderful Florida humidity. I do not know if this degradation effects potency. However, It makes me hot flash worse than the Nature-throid alone, and must not be as potent, because I had two bad Vertigo events. I tried treatment with Synthroid for quite some time, but still didn't feel right. I was then put on NatureThroid, but at 3 pills a day (1/2 grain weight), I was still having memory issues and hair loss. At 4 pills a day, my heart was beating too fast and I was a little bit irritable. My doctor told me about this stuff after hearing what was happening to me, and explained that sometimes our bodies react to fillers and preservatives, so she switched me over. This is the fix for my medical conditions. I finally have thyroid and enough to actually feel good again. My other conditions are healing themselves since my thyroid is correct. I have been able to get off antidepressants and pain medications.

This is hands down the best thyroid medication I have ever used. I have been on it for a month and amazed how wonderful I feel. Tons of energy and I sleep like a baby. If you are on another natural thyroid medication and still don't feel up to par- give this a try- it's very potent.
