Just started Duavee a little over 2 weeks ago. I had practically zero estrogen so this was definitely needed. I am also protecting my bones as I have osteopenia and don't want it to get any worse. Now the good part, sex is much better, actually thinking about it more whereas before my brain was not tuned in at all. My mood is much better. I'm more like my old self, happy and not depressed lik...

I have noticed an increase in energy but all other negative symptoms associated with menopause have not improved at all.

Took this drug for 12 months due to hot flashes. It reduced them and I was able to sleep better but they started to return after being on the drug 6 months. I stopped taking it because it made my legs swell and cramp. I also gained 10 pounds on it.

Moodiness and hot flashes have dissipated. Lower appetite and slight weight loss which is good. Some headaches and neck pain but tolerable. Itching in my hands and feet might be from the sulfate. Hoping this subsides.

No more hot flashes or night sweats! Anxiety and irritability are much better. I have noticed some muscle aches and fullness in legs.

This drug has worked on my symptoms. My complaint is the GREEDY drug company. I pay for 100% of the amount the insurance company negotiates as part of my deductible-no drug co-pay. I have a Duavee coupon, and with that coupon (which was reduced from $75 to $70 per month) the drug cost $38 18 months ago. I just filled it for $82 for a 30 day supply. They increase the price of the drug every 3 months or so. Doesn't seem like much each time until you look at the big picture, more than double, and figure that over 12 months, and I am paying over $500/year more than when they first 'hooked me' on this drug. They are a bunch of sanctioned drug lords pushing drugs to doctors who earn bonuses, and insurance companies who are just re-billing the US Government. Don't take this drug if you have an alternative! Pfizer is abusing the system.Read More Read Less

Immediately made hot flashes and night sweats MUCH worse, not better. Has anyone else had this result? I stopped taking it after a few days. Lowest dose of Prempro worked much better for me, eliminated night sweats after one week, so I will go back to Prempro.

I've been on Duavee for 16 months and it has been a lifesaver. My hot flashes were awful, awful. I've had no side effects and only random, infrequent hot flashes since being on it. As for weight gain, I was slowly gaining weight due to menopause before I went on Duavee and decided about six months after I started taking it to go on Weight Watchers. I've lost 30 pounds, am at a normal weight, and while I will always have to count points, I don't think the Duavee has played a role one way or the other. Read More Read Less

I started taking Duavee 14 months ago. It has definitely stopped my severe hot flashes and moodiness. I was still having night sweats until I started taking Neurontin. My only side effect with Duavee is weight gain. I gained 30 pounds within 10 months. I have managed to lose 10 but it has been very difficult. Not sure if I will continue taking it.

I have been taking Duavee for 6months. I had an ablasion and was trying to replace estrogen/progesterone treatments. Duavee was the oerfect choice. Sex drive returned, my weight stayed down and my emotions stayed level. I also have epilepsy that has seizures which are triggered by estrogen spikes called catamenial seizures. I took Duavee to keep my sythesized estrogen level normal so i wouldnt have seizures. It Worked!

Taking for menopause symptoms. I have no hot flashes, sex life is normal no dryness, no breakthrough bleeding. I also take Neurontin which helps hot flashes too. The only side effect that i've had is weight gain and I don't like that, but I don't know of an alternative for the symptoms that come with menopause, so I'll stay on Duavee.

I began using this to get off of Prempro and Premarin. Began mid August with little difference. Began noticing in September that I had more hot flashes and flushing, something that I really did not have before. Night sweats were my worst enemy, and they stayed abut the same. Th biggest issue has bee the pounding, throbbing headaches that have developed, the feeling of disassociating and dizziness. I stopped taking it 3 days ago and some of the headaches and dizziness has subsided. Will view with my GYN my options. The throbbing headaches are disability ting for me.Read More Read Less

I have been taking this drug for 8 months. 6 months into it, I started experiencing headaches, neck aches, and SEVERE muscle leg cramping, dizziness, feeling bloated and gained about 10 lbs. It worked for the first several months, then hot flashes started slowly coming back and more often. I stopped taking it and now I'm feeling much better.

I have been taking Duavee for 6 weeks . I was previously taking estrogen and progesterone. Low doses. Those worked great for aver a year. Don't know why Dr. changed me. I feel TERRIBLE now. Hot flashes about every 39 minutes. Can no longer sleep at night due to waking with hot flashes.0, and weight up gain is horrible. I'm getting off of this medicine.

Responding to weight gain. My hot flashes and mood swings are completely gone. I am 5'9" and 150. Ive been on Duavee for 2 months and within the past few months I have put on 15 lbs. I was on the pill for 30 years with no issues. I am considering going back on it to avoid the bloat and weight gain!

I have been taking Duavee for 18 days now and I am still having the same amount of hot flashes as before taking this drug (about one every hour). I'm hoping they will calm down soon. And, in the past two - four days, I have been starting to bloat and my legs seem heavier. Is anyone else having trouble with bloating and/or weight gain on this drug? It would be the only reason I would stop taking it.

I have been taking Duavee for 8 months due to prophylactic ovary removal. No more bleeding that I was having on estrogen and progesterone. I have never had a hot flash and I feel the same as I did before my surgery. Will continue on this till I would have reached natural menopause as long as things keep going so well.
