I have been diagnosed with severe emphysema. Until 3 days ago I was at the point that inhalers were not doing much good at all and I was overusing them and having heart palpitations and the only thing that helped was my nebulizer. But even that did not produce great results and I felt limited in everything that I did. I was fearful to take my grandchild anywhere by myself and quite frankly was fea...

Life changing. Within a week I felt better than I had in 10 years. It's been 6 months now, and still doing great. No more coughing at all. Breathing, endurance, and sleeping all better. No other therapies necessary, and I don't have to use oxygen at night now. My breathing score went from 48% to 67% after 6 months on Anoro Ellipta. Only problem has been an immediate problem with muscle cramps in one shoulder and arm along with numbness/tingling. Am doing physical therapy, acupuncture and cupping which has all but eliminated those symptoms. Read More Read Less

Was on Dulera, Spiriva and Ventolin for over two years, but they seemed to cause major bruising and skin tears on forearms. Been on Anoro for about two months. Love the once a day and being able to breathe so easily is heavenly. Can live with the taste. Luckily, Medicare covers a large chunk of the cost. Bruising stopped for the first month, but has returned with a vengeance now with "turkey neck" looking skin on arms, major joint pain in knees, elbows, hips, and fingers, which is restricting activity and causing a progressively worsening limp. Have x-rays scheduled. Also worried about failing eyesight. A little scary and will talk to pulmonary doctor at next appointment.Read More Read Less

Very recent infection which flared acute asthma and exacerbation of COPD resulting in hospitalization. Doctor prescribed Anoro 2 weeks after hospitalization--to replace Spiriva and Symbicort. Tried it for a couple of days. Worked OK in morning, but by mid-afternoon, could not breathe well. Went back to Spiriva and Symbicort, and doing much better.

Had "Lung test" while recovering 6 months from auto accident. Diagnosis was Chronic Bronchitis with COPD. Treatment was Anoro-Ellipta and breathing exercises. After I was released, (Veteran); I return to VA Care. Was given Combivent-Respimat!! After Using(6 months) I know for a fact: Anoro Ellipta rates 5 stars: not tried, slept well, stopped needing to catch my breath all the time, and very easy to use. Problem Combivent-Respimat (rates a 2) but is prescripted by VA. As such I don't have a choice. You do!!Read More Read Less

Using it for over 3mths and super-effective since Day One. Uncomfortable swelling from knees down but at my age - over 70 - edema much easier to live with than not being able to breath.

Been using anoro for about 2 months. I inhale once every morning. I've noticed over the last few weeks I've been getting lots of discomfort in my legs when I sleep at night. Very achy feeling and stiff. Interfering with my sleep. Also neck pain. I'm assuming it's the anoro.

Breathing is better, still using Spiriva. But.. is this why my neck is killing me? Also experienced burning in left breast, and leg cramps, but I didn't relate the this to Anoro. Have had Narrow Angle Glaucoma laser treatments in the past. I hope this doesn't cause a problem with my eyes

My walking has improved dramatically. Over the 5 days I've been taking it my distance has improved 30%, speed has increased 13%, #of rest stops decreased from 4 to 0, and cost has decreased $125/mo over Spiriva + Symbicort.

I was using Advair diskus before. That became to expensive so my DR. put me on this Anoro 6 months ago. Started having muscle spasms in my neck, causing instant ocular migraines. I didn't connect it to the inhaler till the price tripled on me. It went from $85.00 a month to $283.00 a month. So I only use it every other day. My neck pain/spasms got a lot better.I will no longer refill my script when it runs out. The price is just to much. The drug companies really have no regulations on them. They can charge whatever they want to. I'm not paying those prices. My quality of life will change, but I'll have money for food. Read More Read Less

I have experienced constant neck pain and sore throat ever since i have been using it (3 months) as well as extremity pain (intermittent). I stopped using it one week ago and within 24 hours the pain stopped. I will not continue with it at the pain sapped my energy.

I was diagnosed with COPD in 2006 and have used advair and have used combivent 2x a day. I was introduced to anoro 4 days ago and can't believe how wonderful I feel. Was fortunate to get a sample from my doctor, can't imagine my life without it now.

Starting my second month, and it's going great. I was fortunate to get a 12 month coupon for free medicine from my physician. What a blessing!
