I have tried every 'miracle drug' there is for my Crohn's. I have even tried thalidomide and cyclosporin infusion and pills. None had worked before Entyvio. It took months and infusions every 4 weeks as opposed to 8 wks. but IT WORKS! I had been through 2 resections and 2 surgeries for adhesions from said surgeries over 10 yr period. I am finally in remission. I had one of the most severe cas...

I am never taking this drug again. I have late stage chronic lyme disease and this has been my 3rd attempt at trying Entyvio. I made it to the 3rd infusion this time and it's triggered a serious lyme relapse plus I have a respiratory infection. Maybe if I didn't have lyme, I wouldn't be so sick but the side effects of Entyvio are worse than Crohns and its bad enough. All oral meds and Remicade failed so i feel as if ive run out of options. I cannot even be on steroids as the lyme bacteria thrive on it. Having both of these diseases is horrible and i feel like there's no hope anymore. Read More Read Less

Severe migraine headache after first infusion. I began treatments in January and have had going on five months of agony. i will never take this drug again and have talked to others with same symptoms, which are swelling feet, ankles, hands. The worst is constant pain making sleep or rest extremely difficult. It has attacked my tendons and ligaments, causing extreme tightness

Started entyvio 3 weeks ago. Was previously on Humira for 3 months but developed antibodies and made the switch. Havent experienced any relief. In fact, Im very gassy, havent had a solid bowel movement and tired a lot. Giving it two - four months and if it doesnt work, will come off. Have had UC for 20 years and have literally tried everything. Not sure what to do if this fails.

Entyvio, for three treatments. After treatment my UC slowly started to get worst. I got a severe neck pain wish lead to a severe headache for weeks, finally after Dr visit and pain medicine no help I ended up in Hospital emergency. Heavy pain medication helped this. Soon the headaches stopped, only to be followed by severe colon pain. The UC continued to get so bad, I loss my appetite and could not eat, my weight started to decrease. The diarrhea got worse to point of 8 to 12 episodes a day. I started to get severe colon pain to the point I was taking heavy pain medication. I stated to get large amounts of blood from my colon. The ulcers got so bad in my colon the doctors said I needed to remove, I finally stoped the Entyvio after waiting 8 weeks for positive results. I spent the better part of two months in the hospital, unable to eat, extreme colon pain, lost total of 56 lbs. My blood indicators crashed to point I needed a blood infusion. Heavy doses of prednisone and two months of hellish pain and off Of Entyvio I am slowly recovering. This for me was the medicine from hell. I'm going back on the Remicade infusion again.Read More Read Less

It took at least 4 months to see any benefits from Entyvio. I am 10 months into treatment and have seen some benefits. I am having some terrible side effects 10-14 days following each infusion at 4 week intervals, including stomach pain, nausea, diarrhea and hand pain.

I have ulcerative colitis. Was somewhat controlled until the first infusion. That night had diarrhea and every night since. Just finished second infusion. No better. How can a drug that is suppose to help make me worse. Humaira same thing. Quit that after 4 months with no improvement.

Starting taking five months ago and ulcerative colitis went onto remission within two months and has remained in remission for five months. No side effects except for fatigue early in treatment which was probably from uc. Easy to take except for trip to infusion center but only takes about 45 minutes( including prep time

I have only had my first 2 infusions. So far I have not noticed any benefits. In fact my bleeding and discharge from lower intestine has increased significantly. I was previously on Humira for 6 months. The Humira did not control my bleeding but at least it slowed it down. Does anyone have info to share on how long it takes Entyvio to work?

I got so sick with side effects from the Entyvio. Side effects included were; severe headache, rash, nausea, joint pain, extreme fatigue and tiredness. Was only able to do the loading doses. I decided these risks did not outweigh potential benefits for me.

My Ulcerative Colitis went into remission after about two weeks after second treatment. I am now into the every eight week dosage phase and UC is still in remission. I experienced mild nausea and tiredness, but those lessened as my body adjusted to medication about six weeks for me. Hope it keeps working this well!
