My doctor prescribed this medicine for acne. I have been having one tablet everyday for about 6 weeks now and my acne has almost completely cleared. I have been also using aczone and epiduo.

My doctor prescribed this medicine to me and I vomited about 30 minutes after taking it. Awful experience!

I have taken 4 doses of this medication. The first dose went well but the second I took with food and had severe nausea and vomiting. I took the medication this AM without food and became nauseated and ate something quickly and sipped some water and vomited everything about 10 minutes after. I had nausea for several hours afterwards.

I have been using this drug for about a month and it's been great. My acne cleared up pretty much immediately. My doctor prescribed it with Aczone... I highly recommend

It has cleared my rosacea in less than a week, however the first two days were horrible I felt ill about 30 minutes after I took it. I now eat, wait an hour then take it and it doesn't seem to effect me much this way. I have decided to keep using it and hope the first two days were the worst and behind me!

First let me say that I rarely write reviews. I feel, however, that my experience with this drug was unpleasant and rare enough, that it needs to be noted. I began taking acticlate 75 mg and within 1 day had terrible joint pain and body aches all over my body. My back, hips, and even my collarbone ached and had occasional sharper pains. I stopped the meds, but desperate to help my acne, and assuming this had to be a fluke, began them again a week later. Again, within 24 hours the mystery pain returned. I dealt with it for three days and had to stop it again because the pain was so bad. Both times within one day of stopping the drug the pains stopped. I called my doctor after the second bout with it and he said that joint pain and body aches ARE a more infrequent side effect of this drug, and all drugs in the same family, and told me to discontinue it immediately (which I already had done). I just wanted to make others aware that if you are taking a doxycyclene type of drug and in pain, you AREN'T CRAZY!Stop taking it and you'll likely feel better!Read More Read Less
