Even though I consider myself to have healthy lungs, it produces some stress to my lungs after inhaling. That makes me a little nervous. The worst part is the poor flexibility, since it only comes in 4-unit doses. However, I must admit it is quick and effective. And if I need 4 units, it's more convenient than a syringe. But I'll probably need a syringe or pump anyway, to match my body's insulin requirements after subtracting 4.

Have been using Afrezza for a month. My management of blood sugar has been in much better control with Afrezza than Novolog. Afrezza works much more rapidly peaking within 10-15 minutes and out of my system completely within 30-45 minutes. No episodes of hypoglycemia at all. I have not felt this good in years since being diagnosed.
