I have been on Verzenio for 9 months. I have stage 4 Low Grade Serous Ovarian Carcinoma. I started out with the full recommended dose but they lowered it after the 1st month. The diarrhea is the worst!! Sometimes it's like 9 times a day so I take Imodium everyday. I also have nausea most days and extreme fatigue. My tumors and a couple lymph nodes are shrinking though like 3 cm, so I guess I will ...

They should rename this drug and either call it the diarrhea drug or parasite diet! Horrible side effects; extreme diarrhea, headaches, nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, extreme tiredness, and brain fog.

I have been on this medication for 2 1/2 months and I either have horrible diarrhea or I take anti-diarrhea medicine and have painful constipation. I’m nauseous I have brain fog and I’m exhausted. This is no way to live. I am praying this gets better in the next two weeks. After three months of hell, I’m going to have to change medication or reduce the dose significantly. I can’t continue like this.

I’m glad to know others had the same experience. All that stuff for not a good result.

Been on 9 months, battle diarrhea but is controllable. Kidney issues most concerning but is shrinking my tumors. Feel well most of the time, with fatigue and weird goose bumpy feeling. I am some what satisfied, hoping it works for another year or so then on to the next treatment plan.

I agree with the other reviews. The side effects are horrible; it's like being on chemo that never ends. I started out on the full recommended dosage of 400mg/day. I spent my mornings in the bathroom and my afternoons in bed. This is about the 8th med that I've been on over my 10 yr 'adventure' with stage 4 breast cancer and it is the worst thing I've ever tried. And we don't even know if it's working. ??

As of today, I have been on Verzenio, (with monthly Faslodex shots) for 9 months so I thought I could give an accurate description of my experience taking this medication. When I took the very first pill, I broke out in a full torso rash that extended to my neck. The first pill was taken just days after having my double breast reconstruction and the rash caused some questions as to whether I was rejecting the implants. But the rash disappeared after a week and hasn't returned since. Then there is the diarrhea... it never really stops but it does eventually improve a bit. First months I had to take 7 Immodium pills a day now down to 2. I have many other symptoms but not sure if they are from the Verzenio or the Faslodex, but I can tell you that fatigue, nausea, headaches, broken blood vessels for no reason, and neuropathy can be awful. Truly though, the first three months were very difficult being that I still work 60 hours a week. Not a day went by that I wasn't sick although Medical Marijuana saved me daily. As bad as it is, it is still better than dying. Read More Read Less
