At least three time the Redihaler has expelled the medicine when I open the cap- it does not seem to be breath activated! I am concerned when I fly- how does change in pressure impact the way it works? I will be going from 7000 feet to 500 feet- I'm not sure I trust this med being dispensed this way.

I've been using an an inhaled corticosteroid for many years to control my asthma. I REALLY don't like the new "RediHaler" container. It is bulky and tends to tip over and fall on the floor. I liked the old packaging a lot better.

I am completely infuriated with the new redihaler. My 5 year old is not able to use it properly.

AS A REGISTERED NURSE, I CAN TELL YOU THAT A BREATH ACTIVATED INHALER WORKS FOR VERY FEW WITH NARROWED AIRWAYS AND WEAK INHALAATION ABILITIES. POOR DESIGN, THAT LEAVES MANY CHILDREN, ADOLESCENTS, ADULTS, AND ELDERLY NOW WITHOUT AVAILABILITY TO THIS DRUG! SHAME ON THE STUPIDITY OF THIS DRUG COMPANY! GIVE PATIENTS A CHOICE OF THE ORIGINAL MDI, OR THS TERRIBLE REDIHALER.

I have used a qvar inhaler for years. I have used the new qvar redihaler for about two weeks and I do NOT like it AT ALL! I'm trying to give it more time but if my breathing continues downward I'll be at Dr for help! It is hard to propel medicine in and deep when you have bad COPD and cannot inhale in hard and deep! With the aerosol i had no problem and it did it's job. This seems counterintuitive to me. I hate that because when I began qvar years ago it finally was a medicine that worked well for me!Read More Read Less

This new Redihaler is the worst design I’ve ever seen. The cap is in the way when trying to push down, as any other inhaler, they’re removable. It doesn’t always release the dose as it’s supposed to, and it seems to be less of a dose, if I get any at all. Clearly the people who design and test this don’t use them, and this definitely isn’t adult friendly, much less kid friendly! Worst product change I’ve seen!

I have asthma. I was recently changed to this medication from qvar80. I am told is the same, but not feeling it in my lungs the way I did with the qvar80. I have had powdered meds before was on pulmicort180 and I could feel the powder to into lungs when inhailed. With qvar readihailer I don't feel like anything is going in and I have had to use my rescue inhailer and that is rare. Problem is my insurance doesn't cover pulicort 180 anymore and qvar80 is now off the market. I am following instructions. Don't like that I am weasing and having to use rescue inhailer. It has been years since I've had to do that this much. I don't know if anyone reads this, but any reccomendations on what I should do please? I really don't think it is working. Read More Read Less
