I was nervous about taking this prep due to some of the reviews, but I found this prep to be wonderful. This was my third colonoscopy. I get one every 5 years due to a family history. Reading what some others did, I went on a low-fiber diet for two days before prep day. I also drank at least 8 glasses of water for 2 days before prep day to make sure my body was hydrated. On the day of prep, I dran ... Show Full Comment

I've had Crohn's Disease for 30 years, have Diverticulitis, and always have polyps removed during the colonoscopy. My brother died of colon cancer at 48 so I'm high risk. HANDS DOWN BY FAR the VERY best prep I've ever taken, and I've taken them all including trying the HyGIeaCare® Prep (hated it and it cost a ton of $'s!). I read the reviews on this site to pick up a ... Show Full Comment

CLENPIQ is by far the worst medication I have ever taken!! The taste is pungent, acidic, and still penetrable while holding my nose! I could not swallow once without gagging! Then there is an after taste that lingers for many hours. It feel like is has infiltrated your gums, tongue, and mucus membranes. The only decent thing I have to say is that it was effective. With all the strides in medici ... Show Full Comment

Diagnostic colonoscopy was scheduled for a Monday morning. I did low fiber diet from Friday noon then clear liquids on Sunday. I took 1 bottle at 6p, drank it cold with a straw. Taste was pretty awful but I chugged it all at once, drank a bottle of water then brushed my teeth. By midnight my stool was very clear so I drank only half of the remaining bottle and more water. Output was gentle but con ... Show Full Comment
