Plenvu kit had 2 packets. The first was Mango (16 oz) which tasted like salt water mango but better than the gross tasting stuff from others. Drank another 16 oz at 5 and had cleanout start around 6:30 pm. Then 2nd packet(s) was Tropical fruit flavor salt water. Still very tolerable. I was very full after both. The 2nd packet I took at 3 am and basically had complete clean out by 4:30 am but still...

you get diarrhoea to the point where you are incontinently passing dirty water. In this condition I was supposed to travel 20 miles for a colonoscopy. I had to cancel after 3 days preparation. A total waste of money everyone's time and 3 days of my life. What do these people use for brains?

Was like drinking very salty gatorade.. But that's quite do-able.. Drank it slowly over 1/2 hour each time. Drank 500ml water after each. No issues. Cleaned out.

It worked but that’s the only positive thing. Vile salty drink. Vomiting. Severe nausea, could barely eat for days. Could barely walk for days I was so weak. Trouble walking upstairs. I didn’t feel back to normal for about 1 & 1/2 months. Seriously, this is the sickest I’ve ever been in my life. I call it my near death experience and that is not an exaggeration, I should have went to the ER. This should be removed from the market, it’s dangerous.

So salty! Especially dose two, made me so thirsty, I couldn’t stop craving water! Both doses were slightly nauseating, but it passed each time. This stuff is effective at cleaning you out…and quickly! It was gross, but it always is, and this beats drinking a half gallon of gatorade with a huge jar of Miralax in it over the course of 4 hours. The thirstiness was the worst thing for me.

It worked! But not necessarily exactly as directed. If it helps, I'm a 5'4", 66kg fit female. The first dose was nasty but I kept it down. Nauseous all night, couldn't sleep. The SECOND DOSE THO!! THE most putrid concoction ever invented. Lots of talking to myself to get that 500ml down. Tried to tell myself maybe I could get away without drinking that last 150ml. Well, I drank it. All of it. In less than one minute, I was in the garden heaving all that splendid sweet salty shit up. All of it! I showered, brushed teeth, washed hair, washed every bit of me, and yet I can STILL smell that toxic solution in everything. Nurses laughed when they heard me tell a co-patient that even my nostrils smelled of it, my fingernails, everything!! Best news though, from my surgeon, was that my bowel was good and clean, (even after keeping only dose 1 down), and thankfully, actually, frightfully boring ??. (1 polyp only, no other nasties). I had an endoscopy at the same time. I will never enter into this agreement again, lol. Next time I will ask to use a different product. Whoever threw these ingredients together really should be working in chemical warfare! PLENVU scientists really don't like people that is obvious. Yes. It really is THAT AWFUL. But if you choose to go down this route, well, you've been warned by many here. So GOOD LUCK. Ps. Australia here and our price for this much fun is $25.Read More Read Less

This drink is beyond horrible . How a frail or elderly person could be expected to get this down them I don’t know . If Prescribers had to take it they would see the task is excruciating and nearly impossible to finish . I’ve had other preps and none are easy but this is just not fair to expect anyone to tolerate . It needs to be split in to more dilute content doses but I think my memory of today would not allow me even taste it . It’s like nothing I have ever or will ever take again . Plenvu, never ever again. Vile tasting, so bad I couldn't get through dose 1. I have had it before and thought I could do better this time. Last time I couldn't finish it and was so ill from it, very nauseous. This time i did worse and vomited. Ended up getting another sort, drank the 4 litres and was alot easier than drinking 2x500ml of the vile Plenvu. I will never ever touch that vile tasting stuff again. It's far too strong in salt and sweetness for most stomachs to bare.

This was horrible. I followed the instructions exactly. Dose #1 was at 6:00 pm the night before the colonoscopy after a clear liquid diet all day. I don’t like mango to begin with, so we weren’t starting out well. The extreme saltiness on top of the unpleasant flavor was difficult to swallow. I had a near-vomit experience at the very end, but did get it all down in 30 minutes. The magic didn’t start to happen until about 8:00 pm. I expected “normal” diarrhea, but this was more like peeing out of my booty. Even so, it wasn’t painful and I didn’t feel especially bad those first few hours. I did wear a period pad “just in case” and was glad I did. It was critical to stay just a few steps from the bathroom. The fun continued until after midnight, which made it hard to sleep. By this time I was just feeling bad. Weak. I didn’t sleep well. I took my second dose at 4:00 am as instructed. Honestly, the fruit punch dose wasn’t as bad as the mango to me. I slept a little off and on until 6:30 am. I had several moments lying on the bathroom floor fighting off vomit after having been on the toilet. By then I was very weak. I am not sure if they take into account a person’s size, but maybe a 5’3” 130 lbs person like me doesn’t need the same amount of prep as a 250 lbs man. As we were preparing to leaving for the hospital at 8:45 am, I was lying on the kitchen floor trying to talk myself into being upright again. I could barely stand long enough to get checked in. I was hardly able to stay awake long enough to talk to the doctors. But then it would all be better afterwards, right? No. I continued to feel weak and wiped out the entire day of the procedure, with almost no appetite. I made myself eat a little rice, a little pasta. The whole day was lost. The next day was better, but I still suffered cramps off and on throughout the day, which coupled with a migraine triggered from not eating, sent me to bed early. Here I am two days after, still with stomach cramps and a strong resolve to never do that again.Read More Read Less

My doctor provided instructions and that is what I followed. It tasted like drinking a bucket of salt water. I choked down the first dose, barely, and about 30 minutes later I was projectile vomiting and then the other end started, I didn’t stop dry heaving until about 2am and still had the runs the next day. Never took the second dose, and missed my appointment. I have a very sensitive stomach and this was brutal. This was the first time using this cleanse and I won’t be doing it again. There has to be a better solution than drinking large amounts of disgusting liquid.Read More Read Less

Don't believe the drama about the flavors. It's just hyper-flavored, hyper-sweet Liquid IV hydration drink flavor with a bit more viscosity than water. Dose 1 is maybe mango? The bowl movements started within 15 minutes of my first sip of dose one. I had 4 the first hour and then lost count after 13 over the next hour and a half. After the first few it's just dirty water. I'm sipping dose 2 as I write. This dose is more of a fruit punch/hi-C flavor. I'll update this regarding the effects of the dose or review again after dose 2 has done its work. Regarding prep, I went to a nearly all liquid diet (broth, black coffee, tea, hydrator drinks) on Saturday (I had a small French fry), and on Sunday I had a yogurt and banana in addition to broth, tea, coffee, and hydrator drinks. Be removing solid foods so early I hoped to avoid the nightmares I'd read about. And so far (dose 2 pending) I believe it worked out well. Read More Read Less

I’ve had to cleanse before prior to procedures, and had read reviews complaining about the flavor of this particular product. I thought these claims were exaggerated; I no longer think so. It definitely comes down to what the individual can tolerate, and if they’ve got tastebuds masked by conditioning to other rank medications, but yeah — this product is absolutely gross-tasting. The overly salty and distinctly automotive lubricant flavors overpower that supposed mango enhancement, and it took me an hour to get that jar finished. Remember — I’m no stranger to this kind of thing. The stirring of my bowels took two hours to begin, and then lasted the rest of that day and throughout the night. Since I was dosing the two day regimen, I then drank the second dose (“fruit punch flavored”) at the prescribed time. That went down in a half an hour, brought me just a sip away from vomiting the whole stew, and took about an hour to kick-in. And then it never stopped. I was still evacuating at the hospital, six hours later. I have had violent surges after my procedure today: one on the way home from the hospital, inside the vehicle. Because of this I recommend considering an adult diaper for the event. More than one, in case the first is soiled. I used a ‘heavy flow’ pad, and that was no match for what came out of my body. Now thirteen hours after that second dose, I’m sitting on a dog training pad, and waiting for my spouse to bring home said liquid protection because I’m still struggling with sudden occurrences without warning. Worst tasting thing I have experienced in my life. Second dose was worse than the first. Almost threw up. Actually did a little on way to procedure. After the second dose could not make it to the bathroom in time a couple of times and had an accident on the floor! I will never do this prep again! I don't think I can ever have a drink with salt ever again, it has ruined me. And we had to pay over 60 dollars for this vile thing! I'd do a gallon of gaterade in the future to avoid this disgusting stuff. I still smell it and it also made me unbelievably thristy but couldn't drink even water. Read More Read Less

Am taking now and it the most gross stuff I have ever tasted. 100x worst than the large bottle I used to take. This stuff should never be on the market it's so gross tasting. Don't know how I will be able to take the rest but I have to. Am sucking on a piece of cinnamon gum right after taking a gulp. Taste like pure salt.

Plenvu is brutal. There’s no sugar coating the experience. It was vile and the second dose is worse than the first. I did my homework and had all the tips ready but it still made me involuntary vomit and it was absolutely brutal. There has got to be a better way for the patient.

HORRIBLE TASTE. Honestly unbearably. Think a fruity Gatorade flavor like cherry-limeade and tropical punch but then someone dumps a WHOLE salt shaker in it and you have to drink it anyway. Pros: Easy to use/understand, didn’t experience cramps!!! Cons: Taste. Even extra water doesn’t help much. EXPLOSIVE emptying. Not painful but splatters and drips EVERYWHERE. So nasty.

I felt this was more intolerable than previous colonoscopy preps but most of all, I can’t get rid of the taste it’s left in my mouth and has taken away my taste buds. It’s been 15 hrs since the last dose and everything I eat or drink tastes terrible. Hope I never have to use Plenvu in the future. I guess on a positive note, it did what it was suppose to do.

After 3 sips I had to call 911. I had difficult breathing, my breathing got restricted. I am allergic to sulfur and most drugs that have side effects of difficulty breathing, I am upset because I paid $60 co pay, $90 for my E/R visit and I'm sure I will be getting a bill from the ambulance. My personal opinion is the manufactures of this product is PUSHING IT. THEY REFUSED TO REFUND MY CO PAY AND MY EXPENSES. THE DOCTOR THAT PRESCRIBED THE MEDICATION NEVER CALLED TO SEE HOW I WAS DOING AFTER I REPORTED THE INCIDENT. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT. I GENERALLY DO MY OWN FAST !!Read More Read Less

I'm a 165 lb 5'4" women -- so I'm not small, but after 1.5 days of low residual diet (as instructed by my healthcare provider) , Plenvu cleaned out my colon to "clear" after the first prep dose. The second prep dose was a nightmare (and frankly seemed too much). I was in the toilet room every 10-15 minutes for 2.5 hours... just peeing water out of my butt. i was super raw, super uncomfortable. For me, the 2nd prep was too much. Maybe half of the 2nd dose is better.

The most vile substance I have ever put to my mouth. It is hard to put into words how horrific this stuff is. Every sip I drank caused gagging and heaving. I was unable to drink it and now have to reschedule my procedure. Never ever again!!!
