Used EXACTLY as directed and ended up pregnant after 1 month

I got pregnant on it on the eighth use although each time I used it as instructed. Doesn't seem to work by itself especially during fertile window. I'm bummed because I really wanted it to work.

I got pregnant the first month of using Phexxi. I followed all directions and was immediately pregnant.

I was using Phexxi as an alternative to getting an IUD after having my first baby since I didn’t want to have any hormones. Got pregnant after about 6 months of us. We were planning on trying again in the next year but not ready for another baby yet. Wish I’d found this page before using it.

I am very upset because I've always used the pull-out method and it has worked for me. Never got pregnant using the pull-out method hundreds of times. I got pregnant using Phexxi THE SECOND TIME. Phexxi directions DIDN'T say another form of birth control should be used IN ADDITION to Phexxi. Phexxi claims it has the efficacy of condoms or better (in practice, respectively). I do not believe this to be true. At least not in my case. I shared my experience of getting pregnant on Phexxi on an anonymous online social platform and was harassed by people who own stock in Phexxi, EvoFEM Biosciences. After being on the pill for nearly 26 years, it started causing breakthrough bleeding for weeks at a time. OB suggested this. Only used once so far, but the burning was pretty intense. I could handle it and hope it gets better, like some have said. I did like that it doubles as a lubricant. Hope we can keep using it.

I'm currently using Phexxi along with the withdrawal method during my fertile window. It's convenient and easy to use. I haven't had any adverse reactions or pregnancies, so I'd say it's doing its job.

I am very satisfied with Phexxi. My migraines have been reduced in frequency and intensity. The lubrication is a big plus for both of us. In fact, I wish we had this 20 years ago.

I’m in my 20’s and I started using Phexxi. I followed the instructions so dillegently because I was not ready to have children. After 5 months … surprise an unexpected pregnancy. I am so sad and just want other women to know this so that they don’t have to go through this. The product simply doesn’t work.

Finally, a birth control that is non hormonal and actually works.

I so badly wanted this to work. Unfortunately the second time I used Phexxi according to package instructions we conceived our 3rd baby. Now I get to break the news to my seven month old and 2 year old. The baby is of course a blessing, but it is clear Phexxi did not work for me.

Been taking this for a while now, super comfortable, easy, convenient and I trust it completely. It's quite liberating and I will never go back to other methods I think.
