When my pharmacy sent me a notification that my Xulane had been switched to this new alternative, I definitely did NOT have any positive expectations, especially after visiting many review posts on Zafemy. I was extremely worried about breakthrough bleeding, heavy clotting, a messed up cycle (I'm 30, so I've had more than enough of inconsistent cycling), and the consistent reviews that the Zafemy ...

Do not use!! I was on Xulane for months and my pharmacy switched to this patch I went through the entire box in one weekend and they just won't stick I think scotch tape would stick better honestly. Seems alot of pharmacies are switching to this patch over xulane as I called around for a refill on xulane not zafemy and was told by multiple pharmacies they are only carrying zafemy. Beware and check the patch hourly, or you may end up with and unexpected surprise! P.s. showering and cleansing before putting it on makes no difference its just simply sucks.Read More Read Less

My pharmacist gave this to me with my last refill and I hate it!!!! I have been using Xulane since 2019 for hormone replacement after having a hysterectomy. It worked so well. Since switching 9 weeks ago, the patch doesn't stay on, I have horrible mood swings, night sweats and I have put on 10lbs that won't come off. I want my Xulane back.

My pharmacy switched me to Zafemy from Xulane without my knowledge, and it has been the worst experience ever. I have an irregular cycle and Xulane was the first birth control to really help get my cycle on track, and now I’m back to square one with this new patch. It stays on maybe 3-4 hours tops— I went through an entire box in one day once! It has also left red, itchy hives at the application site every single time.

The patches won't stay on. They don't even control her period. Her moods are all over the place since she was switched. We didn't get a choice. I don't know what they did but it s terrible.

Terrible. I miss Xulane. I've never had issues with moodiness, vomiting, or headaches until now. I didn't make it past the first week. It keeps peeling off anyways. So, may as well just have another baby. I already feel like I'm pregnant again anyways. Not using this again.

Xulane has been perfect for nearly a year and was switched to zafemy with no warning. This patch does not stay on at all and has caused all sorts of issues with me and my cycle!

Where is Xulane! My Pharmacist changed my prescription without my knowledge. Switching to this patch has been a complete nightmare. I’ve been using the patch for a month now and my cycle is now thrown off. My cycle has started and it’s not the right week. Why?! I rather be on the pill than deal with this. Please ask your pharmacist to order the Xulane for you. Do whatever it takes.

This patch is not like the Xulane patch. Xulane patch was much sturdier and stayed on. The Zafemy patch does not stay on. I have tried to hold it down and even when you move the arms or take a shower it pops right off.

This birth control patch is trash! My pharmacy switched me to it without my knowledge. I w never had any issues with Xulane. This one makes me vomit a lot, have headaches, and cramp really really bad. I never have spotting or bleeding in between cycles until I used this. It happened the very first week of use and continued. Not to mention, it doesn’t stick either. This patch sucks!!!! Please remove it from being given to people

This birth control is horrible. Ive never had any issues with xulane. My pharmacy switched me to zafemy without any notice. Luckily they told me I could go back to xulane. This patch does not stick, I've been spotting every other day ( something I didn't do on xulane) if you get it wet just forget it, it will not stay on. The worst ever.

This is an update from the first month about my long cycle lasting the whole 7 days after they switched me from xulane to zafemy. This is now my 2nd month on zafemy and NO sign of my cycle. I have started a whole other patch after my patch free week. This is just stressing me out bcuz i dont know what to think, I just hope im not pregnant. I use this correctly snd change it every week. ????

My pharmacy switched me from Xulane to Zafemy without notifying me. I just finished out my last patch of xulane yesterday, it’s been 1 day and I’ve already had to use 2 of the 3 Zafemy patches because they’re so flimsy and thin they fall off within hours. I’m going up to my pharmacy today to demand that they refill my xulane or else I will be switching to literally anywhere else I can find xulane. Zafemy fucking sucks and the pharmaceutical company who released it should be sued.

I was switched over to Zafemy with no warning after being on Xulane for nearly 8 years now. I had no issues for the first patch, second patch slipped off, so I had to put third on early. I’ve been steadily getting more depressed with this new patch, whereas I had little rollercoasters of typical depression on Xulane, but they always went away with little to no issue. I cannot stand this new patch, going to the pharmacist tomorrow to demand to be switched back to what works for me.
