The only issue I have with this drug is getting it filled. The pharmacies are having difficulty getting the drug from there supplier's.

I started Wegovy 4 weeks ago and lost nothing. Then Pen is irritating because you have to push hard to inject. Wish it worked for me.

I was on the injection for two months and lost 18 pounds which was awesome. Unfortunately I started noticing more hair than normal in my hands after showering. My hair on my hair was falling out. I have always had pretty thick hair. I now have very thin hair on top with bald spots. Of course I stopped the medication right away. Now the depression of not having the halo to take the weight off I also Hate my hair. I think it looks awful. I had to cut it just to make it presentable. Wegovy for weight loss was great but there can be hair loss. I called the company to let them know. The lady said she was going to have someone call me about my results and no one ever did. Just know hair loss is a possible side effect. Wish I’d hadn’t been for me. Read More Read Less

I just began month 3 (1 mg). Up until this point I was nauseous, gassy and had diarrhea immediately after I ate, but I didn't mind all that because I could tell it was working. And the fact that I had already lost 20lbs in 2 mos was awesome. I had no cravings, the smell of food made me ill, no appetite -it was great. But now that I've started 1 mg, none of those side effects are happening, I'm back to craving food and I'm back to being able to eat food without getting rid of it right away (diarrhea). So now I'm worried that the 1 mg dose isn't working. It was the .5 mgs where I lost the most weight but was the sickest. Do I need to go back down to .5? Should I just keep going? Not sure what to do but this drug is amazing and I would highly recommend. Not everybody will experience the same side effects, so don't let that keep you from trying it. My nausea wasn't that bad and Wegovy has never caused me to vomit. Oh and I'm a female, 45 y/o and 5'3".Read More Read Less

Am I the only one having a problem with medication leaking out of the injection site? I’ve had it happen after 3 out of 4 injections now, and it’s very disheartening. According to the pharmacist, this is extremely common with these pens— up to 45% of the time. Wouldn’t the medication work better if you were getting the FULL DOSE each time? I’ve lost 10#, so I must be getting a little of it. I’m an RN with 45 years of experience, and this is a less than perfect injection system. And watching the medicine roll down your leg or abdomen is like watching $400 run down the drain. Frustrating. Read More Read Less

I started Wegovy in October. So far I have lost 25 lbs, which has been wonderful. My biggest issues are the nausea and constipation. I have increased my water intake which has helped a bit, but the nausea is unreal. I am on the 1.0 dose and I can't imagine getting to the higher dose. It is definitely a mental adjustment to not being able to eat as much, or as mindlessly. I am hoping Zofran will help with the nausea.

I really feel as though the Wegovy has changed my thoughts of food. I don’t crave certain things, I don’t want certain things. I stop eating because I am full faster. I am making better choices when it comes to eating. The weight loss is slow but I feel as though I am losing in areas I haven’t lost in a long time. Minimal side effects which don’t last long. I am looking forward to the end of my journey on Wegovy where I keep the weight off this time.

I've been using this medication for 3 months and I have lost 25lbs. The first time I used it..it curved my appetite and I was very impressed. My only upset is the having to use the bathroom all the time and nausea feeling right after the medication is administered. This is the first product I have used after years of trying to lose weight that have given me these kind of results. I don't crave sweets anymore. I would recommend this product

The first two weeks were rough. Upset stomach, lots of acid, fatigue, nausea. Now I have stabilised and have just had my fourth injection. Down 11 pounds in less than 4 weeks. I still to 1200 calories a day and use Noom and My Plate to make sure I am getting a balanced diet. I have fewer cravings for sugar and alcohol and my appetite is definitely Italy decreased. Now I have my energy back and my stomach is better. I work out with a trainer three times a week and feel strong!

I started on the lowest dose in August and just started the highest dose today. I have lost 26lbs so far without working out and just doing portion control. My biggest complaint is nausea. It is awful if you accidentally overeat. If I eat even an average amount, I will vomit. I hardly eat anymore, which is a good thing. I used to overindulge. The side effects are a trade-off for the results. I am trying to lose 100lbs total so I will keep you updated.

I am on my 9th week and I have felt terrible the last 3 weeks. I get nauseous and very dizzy. Anything I eat I have diarrhea right after (even bread). I need to lose about 25 more lbs but I don’t know if the side effects are worth it.

I'm on my 4th month of treatment (one more week left) and have made it to the 1.7mg dose. Early on i started noticing constipation but that was an easy fix. Just making sure I eat more fiber and using a stool softener. There would be a few times I felt nauseous but i wasn't eating like i should have. Just trying to learn what my body needed. That went away with some adjustments to snacking and eating. This new dose however has been the hardest for me. The nausea is lingering. There have been a few times that I actually throw up. The nausea usually lasts the first two days of the weekly shot. If I take a nausea pill though it really helps. I notice that I feel full all day long some days. I try to eat something small just knowing that I still need to eat. I don't have any cravings. I've lost around 30 pounds. It started slowly at first but has really increased over the last 4 weeks. I've noticed that many of my clothes are fitting better. With more exercise I think my results will be even better. If you can find ways to manage any negative side affects I think its worth it to stick it out. Read More Read Less

I started this journey July 9th as a last resort to get healthy enough to come off of blood pressure medicine. My brother is my best friend and is in need of a kidney transplant. His time if running short. I am his only full blooded sibling. I went to Tampa to find out how to test to see if I was a match. I was turned away due to being under the age of 50 and on blood pressure meds which make me high risk for kidney problems in the future. I was told I need to be off blood pressure meds at least 90 days before they will even test me to see if I am in fact a match. I was devastated. When I returned home I spoke to my cardiologist and he told me to limit salt and lets try to lose some weight and he will monitor my blood pressure and see what we can do to come off the meds. I went the very next day to a weight loss doctor and discussed options. We determined that due to the nature of medical needs surrounding my need for regaining my health we would go with the wegovy. As of December 20th I am down 34lb and about 8 inches off my waist. I have been monitoring my blood pressure and taking half the medicine strength now from what I was on. My blood pressure sometimes runs a little low/normal so we are thinking within another month or so I will be able to go without it and see how I do. If everything goes well I hope to be able to enroll in testing to see if I am a match to donate a kidney for my brother. If I am a match then we owe it to wegovy for saving two lives not just one. That is a blessing for sure. Fingers crossed and prayers raised. Read More Read Less

This does work like a miracle for weight loss. I have lost 20% of my body weight in 5 months. I am at my goal and it feels wonderful. However, I have had several awful GI episodes in this last month. At first I just had mild nausea and great appetite suppression, but the last month I have bad nausea/pain episodes about once a week. Its bad enough that I am stopping the wegovy, even though I am terrified of gaining weight back. Still, I feel this medication is worth a try by anyone who is overweight or obese.Read More Read Less

Started Wegovy on 10/18/21 & I'm down 25 pounds.I really didnt have any major side affects on the lower dosage. I'm currently on 1.0 mg, I get full very quick & if i over eat or eat something that dont agree with my body I have to vomit. I'm learning what I can & can not eat. My body lets me know when I'm full.

First week of Wegovy. A little blah and had to take extra Pepcid for unset stomach. First day was amusing. Stomach gurgled nonstop all day. That night a little nauseous. Totally shut down my desire to eat. Certain food taste different. Sweet thing tend to taste overly sweet. Feeling full much sooner and can’t get through a full meal. This is certainly the strangest drug I've ever taken. I’m hoping for the best. The doctor said she has had no one drop out. I think most of us will do anything to loose weight and as we have powered through all the side effects of being overweight, we will power through the Wegovy side effects. Good luck everybody. I’ve taken only my first dose at .25mg. I’m not sure that I will be able to continue taking this medication. While my cravings have been diminished significantly, I simply cannot eat without extreme nausea even with an anti-nausea medication. Within an hour of the shot, my arm and neck on the side I had the shot felt like they were sunburnt. Within 4 hours, I was vomiting more violently than I did while pregnant. I’ve never been this I’ll feeling since the time I had food poisoning and ended up hospitalized. The nausea is pervasive and will not go away even after vomiting and zofran. I’ve lost 7 pounds in 48 hours. Feel like I’m drying up. Smells trigger the nausea, even on day 3. It’s also given me some severe headaches that begin in the evenings and continue for many hours until I managed to fall asleep. I have nasty sulphuric burps and the gas and bloating are pretty bad too. Just started with diarrhea this morning. Not sure what it did to my system, but I’m not sure that I want to see what a higher dose does to my body. I doubt that I will continue this medication beyond the second dose unless my side effects improve dramatically. Read More Read Less

I am a type 2 diabetic, my dr perscribed this to me for a few reasons, one main reason is because I struggle with loosing a few more pounds to get to where I would like my weight to be. I had taken wegovy for 2 months and recently decided to stop using it. When i first began shots it started to subside my appetite briefly, however the headache it gives it quite annoying. I continued using this in hopes that I would start to see some kind of change. Unfortunelty no change in my weight what so ever. All it really did for me was give me a weekly two day long headache. I stopped using and went back to using my ozempic. Was hoping for better weight loss results with this medication that I didnt get. Read More Read Less

I've been on this medication for 11 weeks now, and lost 24 pounds, no side effects. I think my taste buds changed as there are things I can not eat/drink anymore like coffee or ice cream. I eat healthy and exercise 4 times a week for 2 hours each time, added walk for 30 minutes in the evening 2-4 times a week. I don't snack, I avoid carbs. I eat only when I'm hungry which is happening 2-3 times a day and even then, I eat very little as I feel full quickly. I listen to my body and stop eating when I'm full. I drinks lots of water. reading all comments here I think I'm lucky as I have no side effects. I highly recommend this drug after consulting with your doctor. Read More Read Less

I have been on wegovy no for 5 months, and I have lost almost 50 pounds. My doctor started me out on the lowest dosage, and now I'm on the highest dosage. The only bad thing is that I stay nauseous all the time, and the next 2 days after taking the injection, I would throw up, even if I haven't ate anything, I would throw up the wegovy medicine I think, because it would be yellowish stuff coming up, and it has a weird taste. But on the 3rd day, and after, I just be nauseous, and I can't really eat anything, and if I eat to much, I would throw it up. I asked my doctor if he could prescribe me something for the nausea, and he did. So yes the side effects are terrible, but I am very pleased with my results, and no exercise is needed.
