Very tolerable, much more tolerable than Restasis and Xydra. Follow the instructions exactly and it is easily tolerated. I have been using Tyrvaya for one week. I have some improvement and will use at least 3 months and reevaluate.

It took about three months to feel 90% better. At this point the constant tearing I experienced for 3 years is almost gone. I supplement with preservative free drops and night time ointment but it’s a huge improvement.

I was prescribed this prior to cataract surgery and have used for about 2 weeks with minimal benefit, At first it did not emit any spray, After more priming than suggested, I have gotten it to spray but the amount varies, I made the manufacturer aware of this and was promised they would expedite delivery of a new bottle, But it is a week later and I am still without this, The side effects have not lessened, There is prolonged stinging in my nose and throat as well as bouts of sneezing and coughing for 15 minutes. I used Restasis previously which was definitely more tolerable and far more effective, Read More Read Less

I have found this very difficult to use. The pump only works occasionally. The tip is too large to fit slanted into my nostril without touching the sides. I have violent sneezing fits after using and have to blow my nose repeatedly. I wonder, thus, if the medication can be effective. After a week, I have noted no improvement.

This is the best dry-eye treatment I've ever tried. Convenient and easy to use. Unfortunately it's priced to a point I have to do without. My prescription plan doesn't cover this product and the price at my local pharmacy is $742 a month - that's $25 a day -- over $10,000 a year. I'd rather donate the $742 to one of the programs working on government regulation of drug pricing.

I suffer from Dry Eye Disease. I was prescribed Tyrvaya by my OD to help alleviate my symptoms. All it did was burn like hell an make me violently sneeze for almost 20 minutes. My OD said these are somewhat common side effects. Switched me to a low dose steroid called Eysuvis. my eyes have never felt better.

This worked immediately for me. Other medications caused horrible burning in my eyes and never helped my condition. It is very important that you NOT allow the nasal spray to get into your sinuses, and this is not always easy. Once I learned to administer Tyrvana correctly, I did not have irritation in my nose and throat.

I was so hoping this would work for me but I'm still waiting. How long do you have to wait before it actually works. Been using it for 3 months and I've seen no improvement. It's expensive, too!!! I've had plugs, used Restasis, artificial tears, artificial gel, Humidifier, Flaxseed, compress and nothing works for my dry eyes. I'm at my wits end! Help!

This product works! I have been experiencing severe dry eyes for many years waking up each morning with crusty, painful eyes until I started Tryvaya. I actually got a sample of this after going to see my ophthalmologist for eye floaters. it has been two weeks since I have started using the spray and I am no longer experiencing the painful morning dry eyes and am able to see better as well. I am so happy!

The huge flaw of this product is that you have to have nostrils wide enough for the applicator to both enter your nostril and, be able to angle the tip at a 45 degree angle all while not touching the inside wall of your nostril. Due to my small nostrils, this product is literally impossible to use right as it only fits in my nose pointing almost straight up which is the only way it doesn't touch my inner nostril wall. This should be clearly explained to people before purchasing it but there is nothing anywhere that says this. Sure enough after a month of use using it the only way I can, it has done nothing for me, and if they had made the applicator thinner then it would fit more nostril sizes better.Read More Read Less

Have Sjogrens, very dry eyes, mouth. Used Restatis regularly for 10 years. I thought this was my answer. Have Arthritis in finger. It's very hard to spray for me. Getting slight nose bleed. By what others are saying they are spraying towards sinuses. Your suppose to spray in direction of top of ear in side of nose, this is not a sinus spray. I'm going to continue the sample and see if I get improvement. I'm praying this will work for me, so tired of all the eye drops, my bathroom looks like a drug store of eye drops.Read More Read Less

I have been using Tyrvaya for only about 10 days, but am having my doubts. I was excited when my eye doctor contacted me about this new medication as a possible treatment for my dry eye. I have severe dry eye/mouth and Sjogren’s Syndrome. I manage okay during the day, even continue to wear contacts. Night time is the problem. For about two years, I’ve suffered from my eyes literally drying out so much that my eye lids stick(feels like completely glued shut over entire eyeball). Upon awakening, it feels like my lid is ripping off the eyeball. I’ve had cornea abrasions and had to wear amniotic lenses for healing. Currently, I’m using Restasis, heat iPads, various ointments, a humidifier and Omega supplements every night with the Tyrvaya before bed. The Tyrvaya is easy to use. It’s does burn, almost like a good dose of pepper spray. I sometimes sneeze, but is manageable. If it runs down the back of my throat, it does burn so I drink several sips of water to keep it was sitting on the back of my throat. I’m having a little blood when I blow my nose now. Eyes do water, but I really don’t see any long term effects that last during the day or night. Im still waking up in the middle of the night with eye lids sticking, maybe not as severely, but I haven’t had a single night of sleep in two years without this issue. I’ve read it may take a month to heal and regrow eye film tissue… so willing to give it a try, desperate. Hope I can find more positive results as the month progresses. Read More Read Less

I have been using this for a month. Has made a huge difference for me, no need to use artificial tears anymore. Administration is key. It is not meant to enter your sinuses or nasal cavity. Perhaps that’s why some are experiencing stinging/burning/excess sneezing

I had high hopes for this spray, but am very disappointed. The only thing that it does is makes your nostrils burn so bad that your eyes water for a few minutes, then your nose runs for about a 1/2 hour. After that, nothing. It does not help with dry eyes, no relief at all. It also gives a very strong bitterness in the back of the throat that's nauseating. There is no way I can continue using this. The only thing good I can say is that it's easy to use, but what good does that do if it doesn't work. I don't know why the FDA approved it, it's just another useless dry eye treatment. I have used this only twice when my eyes were dry, previously I have been using restasis, I am a 52 year old female, and have had dry eyes for 20 plus years. This stings like hell when you put it in and you’ll get tear production from the pain response of this nasal spray, induces a violent sneezing fit and your searing nostrils progress to searing the back of your throat as it drips down, this is the most unpleasant treatment I have ever tried. But there were tears, for sure,

The pump mechanism is not working for me. Holding the pump in my hands somehow wont give me any spray. But if my husband does it we get a nice spray. That makes it useless for me because it wont spray if I hold it. I was soooo looking forward to this nasal spray
