I believe persons should take this drug as a first line of defense before opting for bypass surgery. If I knew what I know now, I would never have had a Five-Bypass Surgery (CABG). Most doctors wouldn't believe what I have done to keep myself alive. Except one; my present cardiologist. 62 planning to be 80

I had several attacks with angina and sometimes having to go to the emergency. The medication Imdur oral has helped relieve the the attacks. I was in the hospital Feb.6th for 4 days of testing. I feel much better with this medication.

Mild headaches for about 2 weeks, then none. No more chest pain for about 9 months and when they started to return I bumped dose from 15mg a day to 30mg a day and pains stopped. I am very satisfied with this drug.

I started this medicine 2 days ago and I have lost 5lbs. Is this typical? Does it act as a diuretic?

Before starting this med I was hospitalized twice with chest pains, each time for two to three days. Nothing was found to be wrong or troubling with my tests. Then my Cardiologist prescribed this medication. Works as he said it would (slight headache, two Tylenol and I'm fine). greater living through chemistry.

The first day, I had a severe headache. I took 2 tylenol and it was better. Second day, slight headache, but tolerable. Third day, no headache. And now I feel wonderful. No shortness of breath, no throat or chest tightening. For me, this drug is a miracle.

I only took IMDUR for 2 days. It gave me an unbearable headache and I had extreme nausea, couldn't even get out of bed. I'm going to stick with my nitroglycerin tablets when I have an angina attack.

I am extremely allergic to medications and have taken Imdur for Congestive Heart Failure for over five years. I take 30mg twice daily. Cannot take more without problems. I take it with Atenolol 50mg and a .81 aspirin in the AM. I use Nitrlingual Heart Spray for angina when necessary.
