I am on this medicine twice a day for 10 days. I've noticed I've had horrible headaches. It makes me very irritable thanks to the tremendous headaches it gives. Despite being on it, I still have pain in my eardrums which it was supposed to help with that, according to my doctor. It tastes horrible like everyone says, which causes you to not want to swallow it easily.

Started taking 3 days ago. Help some. DR send may take up to a week to feel better because type of infection. Feel somewhat sick to stomach. Hope it works.

Very hard to take. Starts dissolving immediately. Very bad lingering taste.

Constant headache cleared immediatley now I'm into my 5th day still feeling a little uncomfortable somewhat of a periodic headache shock doesn't hurt just uncomfortable . I have 2 weeks treatment if not completly cleared, I will go back to the Dr. to prescribe another RX. I am able to function way better than I have been.

This sounds like a lie but it's the whole truth. Sinus Chest infection - didn't read enclosure from pharmacy before breaking in half (because it's so big). 2 hours later- ambulance coming to get me, vomiting with diarrhea so badly I couldn't raise my head. Took pill around 7:00 p.m. At hospital by 9:30, out the next day approx. 10:00 a.m. Won't take it again

Just started taking this drug. has anyone experienced blisters in their mouth?

Read your reviews. Have wonderful remedy for diarrhea symptoms when using Cefuroxime Axetil Orally. Caregiver for husband, stroke patient, cannot swallow easily. Could not tolerate extreme bitterness of med. Gave him med with 1/2 tsp. (more if you wish) of sugar. Mix thoroughly. Forgot to do this for one dose; had diarrhea twice soon after...Sugar works, will not affect efficacy of med. So happy to be able to do something to help others to take it without fear! Best, ES

Medication worked great but after 8 days I started to have an alergic reaction (itching)

It helped immediately. After about 4 days on the medicine - no more change. After 6 days - severe nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, headache. Taste is horrible! Think I would ask for something different next time. But, it did give me my voice back.

It tasted like crap even with the flavoring, my son took it and threw up within 10 seconds. I tasted it to see why. It was awful, even enough to turn my stomach and I am not sick. My son, who is 8 yrs. old told me he would rather get a shot in the arm before he tasted that again!

worked great for me felt better after two doses. I was able to lay down and sleep for the first time in days.I took the pill with a large glass of water and didn't have any problems.

This med worked vary quickly, I noticed a differance after only two doses. It has been very hard to swallow becuse of the bitter tast.

This drug, while apparently helping get rid of my sinus infection symptoms within the first couple days, has also made me nauseated & given me pretty strong stomach cramping, along with very loose stools. I am afraid to go anywhere in case I need to go the bathroom asap! The trade-off from having a severe sinus infection to now having to be near a bathroom around the clock & feel sick to my stomach is NOT worth it. I quit taking the medication 2-1/2 days after starting it. Also the awful taste makes it an even worse choice for an antibiotic, in my opinion. I had 3 days of taking Amoxicillin for bronchitis combine with sinusitis with very little improvement. I went back to my doctor and received a RX of cerufoxime axel 500mg 2x a day. After the first dose of 500mg,My headache ceased, I got my voice back. By the second dose it was the first night in a week that I did not have the chills. By the 4th dose I feel well again.

This is the first time for me taking this medication for a sinus infection. It's working very well. I have found that the extremely awful taste can be "cured" one of two ways. It is recommeded that you take it with food, so make sure you do that. First "cure" to the taste: eat a Tums or other antacid after taking the medication. Second "cure" to the taste: take the medication with a glass of milk instead of water. I've found the second to be the most effective.

Taking this for Sinusitus (Cefuroxime Azetil 250 mg) for 10 days. This is my Friday & Saturday (3rd & 4th night) had a pain all the way to my teeth. Had to take tylenol for the pain. Sunday (5th day of treatment) I'm feel a litle better, can't go to work on Monday-Overall, still waiting to feel a Whole Lot Better. Bitter Taste. I will finish this round, but will never take this medication again. Takes too long to feel better. I work-so I need to feel better faster.

The doctor told me to take this medicine as an antibiotic to my allergic bronchitis. Well i'm on my 6th day on taking this medicine and i feel much better than i was before. I was only prescribed to take this for 7 days and i do hope to be relieved from this agony.

This is my third attempt at curing my lyme disease that I have been battling on and off since 2002. I take 500 mg twice a day and the only negative that I have found with this is it tastes TERRIBLE! The Dr. said that there was another form of the med that is blue and has a tougher shell but I have not been able to locate it yet....

Horriable,bitter taste

it does taste nasty if you let it sit in your mouth for a minute also it kept me awake at night when i took it before iwent to sleep
