I think its great that a small pink pill replaced nights of inputting creams and days of it leaking out. My experience was positive very satisfied with results and will use again if needed. No side effects - took pill out night before bed just in case. I get yeast infections offen because I think I have allergies from my husbands semin, for real. for some reason if I let him do his business inside...

Used many times and it worked great. This time though, it didn't work at all. Tried monistat and that didn't work at all. And I can't get in to see my doctor for 5 days! Going to try garlic while I wait.

I have recurrent vaginal yeast infections and although this drug works great, it is a serious drug. I have discovered a natural and just as effective way which I wish doctors had told me when I was 20. If you open 5-6 acidopholis capsules into a sterile vaginal douche bottle, add sterile water (bottled water), shake and douche while laying with your legs up in your tub to allow the bugs to attack/ re- balance the yeast inside and be sure to include pouring bugs on the exterior areas that are itching as well for at least 15 mins. Don't rinse off your vagina area and don't add cream. Begins working immediately.Read More Read Less

I had a terrible infection which caused me great discomfort and irritation. My doctor prescribed me these pills, one for each day for 3 days and my infection now is almost cured. However, I would suggest that the pills should be accompanied by a cream that can applied, as prescribed by your doctor.

I had a yeast infection to the 10th Power!!! I tried some OTC vaginal meds and definitely didn't work out for me. Seem like it got worse. Very embarrassing and uncomfortable NOT A GOOD FEELING!!! My Dr prescribed me 2 doses at 150mg each. Took the 1st pill at noon and I could really feel relief within hours. I highly recommend this pill for quick relief. Thank goodness for Fluconazole!

It has been 4 days since I took the pill, and I have had terrible stomach pain on and off the whole time - so bad it woke me in the middle of the night and I felt like getting my stomach pumped to get rid of this drug!! I will never take this again - I would rather mess with the old fashioned gook!

I was diagnosed with Cryptococcus Meningitis in August 2014, was on Anphatericin B for 5 weeks, when the fungus was no longer in my spinal fluid they switched me to this medication at 400 mg/day. After 2 weeks the fungus antigen went up in my blood so they increased my dosage to 800mg/day. After a couple weeks I have started to get small itchy rash style spots all over my skin and the rest of my skin is drying out significantly. No other side effects yet though.

This medication if very effective, I have had to use it several times over the years, since I am on steriods for my breathing problems which causes thrush and yeast infections in the throat. This medications has worked well over a period of 10 days it has taken care of the issues. It is best taken with food so it doesn't upset the stomach or cause diarrhea. Also drink plenty of water while on this drug because it seems to dry you out pretty much but if you stay well hydrated it is not a problem.Read More Read Less

I LOVE Diflucan/Fluconazole. It has saved my sanity twice when I had severe yeast infections. I'll never go back to creams if I don't have to. The relief starts kicking in within 15 minutes for me. It's a modern miracle. The only negative is that it's only available as a prescription, which delays your access to it in a very miserable and uncomfortable time. In Canada, you can buy it OTC under the name CanesOral. Wish the USA would change their laws with regard to this drug. Good luck, ladies.Read More Read Less

Received 2 pills to be taken 48 hours apart. The only thing it did was turn my pee orange. Didn't help with the pain or the frequent urination. The medication was changed the 2nd day.

This is terrible medication. I have been having stomach problems since I took this stupid medication for the first time (and last time. It wrecked my colon. I think it wiped off my digestive system from all good bacteria and I am still suffering greatly. Had I known or read the comments before taking it, I would have flushed this pill down the toilet!

So glad tonight was my last dose of this junk! The 1st morning after I started taking it I had a weird case of diahhrea and every morning since (only 5 pills total) I've had severe nausea. Right now it's 4:30am and I got awaken with upset stomach and urge to throw up. We are treating a reoccuring fungal infection on the outside of my right foot. And not successfully. I'm also using a fungal/steroid cream, prescribed. This is horrible.

got yeast infection while on strong antibiotics for UTI. First pill made not difference, I'm still so itchy with lot of discharge all day long. I took another pill today, I feel some minor improvement but it is too soon to tell. I'm still very itchy/burning/redness. The medicine gave me strong tummy ache and diarrhea, made me sleepy, tired. Not sure if I want to take another one but since Im still on antibiotics, I must do it.

I was prescribed this medication because I was diagnosed with MRSA and needed to be on a very strong antibiotic and usually I suffer from yeast infections while taking it. However, I have high blood pressure and control it with medication and this medicine raised my blood pressure to 187/115!!! I wouldn't recommend it to anyone taking BP meds.
