    Have been taking Effexor XR for about 5 years. 225mg, recently upped to 300mg. Tried lots of other anti-depressants and mood-stabilizers before which didn't work. Also took it a while in combo with lithium and diazepam (which made me a complete zombie). Overall it does make getting out of bed in the morning easier. Has been especially helpful with my crippling anxiety. Stopping it is terrible ... Show Full Comment

    I am taking this medication because I have Multiple Scerlosis,and Ive have it going on 12 years,I take a 225 doseage a 75mg and a 150mg and it has certainly has worked for me bigtime! It may not work for everyone but My Dr checks me every 6 months make sure im ok!
