Having to take this medication twice a day- I feel it has helped some -But don't think it's goona clear up the infection-I feel nauseated tired and have headaches as side effects- Don't like this- wish there was something different to take for UTI,S.

Each time I took this pill, I experienced fever and terrible chills about five hours later.

caused severe shortness of breath and terrifying ringing in my mom's ears. I called the pharmacy and the pharmacist said, yeah, it can do that. How reassuring. I'm still not sure if I have to take my mom to the hospital now. They make it impossible to know what to do now.

This medicine worked for my cerebral palsy daughter a year ago when she had UTI. She has trouble swallowing a pill or capsule. I open the capsule and sprinkle it in small amount of applesauce. It cleared up her infection. She took it for ten days. She now has another uti and is taking it again. This is her second day on the med. I did not notice any side effects when she was on it before. Hopefully there won't be any this time. Mother and caregiver.

The side affects I have are: nausea, headaches, lethargy. The first night I experienced chills so badly by teeth chattered.

Long term use has caused lung problems..Started with dry cough, low grade fever, and shortness of breath! Hospitalized & took two days to diagnose correctly, now looks to be about 2 weeks before oxygen levels will stabilize...

Took generic equivalent for my UTI. Very important to take this medication WITH FOOD, whether you are hungry or not. Drink plenty of fluids. Read directions. Although I noticed improvement after first pill, I did have a headache but it was quickly resolved with other medication. I am very pleased with quick resolution of UTI symptoms.

Was given this drug to prevent urunary tract infection after a cystoscopy. Was effective in reducing chills/fever, but left me with a rash on face and feeling of general tiredness - still persists 3 days after stopping the drug. (took 4/day for 3 daysZ)

I contacted my physician after having a bout with the flu symptom. My Physician recommended this medication along with other amoxicillin which I was already taking. I felt immediate relief from I took the first capsule and a chronic back ache dissapeared also. The only side effect was a lot of sweating at bed time and a slight head ache. I would take it again if recommended. I am also a medical professional.

I have taken this drug for 5 days now and feel worse than I did when I started! I am weak, shaky and nauseous all day. I don't think the infection is cleared up yet either since I am still feeling discomfort.

From the start, I had nausea, stomach pain, dizziness, weakness and fatigue . also a very slow start to reflief..

This is by far the best antibiotic I have ever used. It is fast working, best in effectiveness, and has little to now side effects,and also little to no interactions. I recommend it very highly.

I've had bladder problems for years and this is the only drug that has worked for me consistenly.

Initially the medication made me tired however by the second day that had passed and my symptoms from my infection were improving.

It made me nauseous with a headache about 1/2 hour after taking which lasted for about a hour.

I like this drug. It serves its purpose. I havent really had any side effects. I take it before intercourse and if i get another infection. I would recommend this drug!

I dont like this drug much. But the idea of having E-coli is worse so I struggled through 5 days, 2 times per day. It made my stomach very upset and gave me a bad headache about 3 days into it. I have been off it for 3 days but feel like someone kicked me in the intestines. I hope to never need to take it again!
