After a stroke using to help lower blood pressure and reduce swelling in legs. It made me dizzy and pass out until cutting dose in half to 5mg. Also makes everything taste like a salty, sour, vinegar like flavor. This has diminished greatly with the half dose but still bothersome. Taking with B12 seemed to help stop the horrible taste.

I have been taking this torsemide for more than one year now my doc has told me to stop it for a while and monitor your blood pressure daily twice for atleast 15 days.The problems which I faced after consuming this medicine is light headedness, weakness, lousyness and vertigo not in the beginning moments but after about 6 months of regular consumption( 10 mg) once in a day.Now since I have stopped it today onwards let's see the results.

The physician asked me if I had headaches. I said no. So he prescribed this medication. Now I have headaches everyday.

i have been taking this medication now for three years it was fine but lately after it takes the fluid off it leaves me feeling very tired. mouth has a funny taste i just don't like the way i feel. I am planning to ask my doctor to change this medication.

Have been taking 100 mgs. for a few years and, although it has reduced my high blood pressure and edema from using prednisone, it has been causing sever gout. The gout episodes have lasted for up to a month. Quit taking and now the edema is back, but the gout is slowly going away. Dr. is going to prescribe 20 mgs. a day, so we'll hopefully see an improvement for both the edema and gout.
